    Hi aliasojo

I saw your original post the other day and told my OH... it went down very well! :D We currently have a demi-john bottle which I know can hold at least £100, even if you just chuck coppers and 5ps in it. So, we now dedicate it to some serious savings indeed! (And as I saved over £16 by not buying lunch at work last week, that's going in there too!).

Really sorry you've had to restart your Herman - I hope you get back to no mortgage as soon as possible...

If anyone is wanting a pigsback moneybox, if you click on the easter competition on the homepage (find the easter egg or something like that) it takes you to a page all about easter stuff and at the bottom is a colouring curly competition. It says the winners get 100 points and a piggybank but may be worth a go as my ds did this ages ago when they had a colouring comp and I think everyone got a piggybank ;) Not guaranteeing it, but may be worth a try :D

ViHan - just wishing you every success with your saving for a new life in the country. Nothing can beat it, IMHO. Have fun on these forums :)

well, prudence my money prudent pig is already getting well fed :)

i play one line on the lotto every week, and won a tenner, so that goes into prudence, nd after that lucky win i fancied my chances on thunderball, so last night, i won another tenner, another one for my pig :), its only small but its a start, and finger crossed for some more wins to go into prudence.
Thanks to all who post comps :T

What exactly are you doing with the change? Are your banks happy to take it off you - I seem to remember the alliance and leicester beign a bit difficult about taking actual 'money'. I've sorted the contents of our holiday pig out and bagged it up, but I really don't think they're going to want to take it off me....

    Do they have to?

Yes if you are paying it into your account .... not sure if you just want to change it to paper money ...... Some banks only accept 5 bags though. LTSB (if you have an account with them) accept as many bags as you want to pay in.
