Thanks for that Wendy I have sent a message through pigsback for you so you can start towards your free piggy bank.
When the £2 club was going we all found this out so monthly or when we got over a certain amount of money they would be banked to get them back in circulation.
Must admit I have all of this months hidden away but I'll be banking them at the end of the week so there should be a few more in my area anyway.

just wanted to say thanks to the OP and everyone on this thread. I already had a lovely big pink pig but I never fed him. We're in the process of re mortgaging and I hope to pay off in 10 years ie when the fixed rate finishes.
We already overpay so are used to doing it but this thread has inspired me to sell some vouchers I wasn't going to use and also yesterday I needed milk so I used £2 co-op voucher someone gave me and put the £2 cash in piggy0 -
I love this thread too and I'm trying to skim money every now and then to my mortgage account, ie if i get paid £514 then I put £4 in the goose ( I know I should put £14 in but.............. in fact the guilt has got me I will put whole £14 in :rotfl: couldn't think of a good enough excuse to put not put the £14 in
) but anyway thats the plan when ebay money comes in etc I'll skim a bit off.

Hi, just emptied my daughters Ikea blue pig (doesnt look much like a pig, but it didnt cost me anything) have got £100 to pay off mortgage on 28th and still a few bits left over. This is a great site and has really motivated me and made me stop and think when i buy anything, each time i get overcharged at the likes of Tesco or Asda and get a refund, it goes straight into piggy. Thanks everyone, keep up the encouragement.0

I've just got a £5 voucher from Morrisons petrol cad so that will get used this week & £5 paid into mortgage (luckily I can do on line) (which is less embarassing than when I used to pay 67p or whatever into bank account each week befor I got Peefer my pig
).
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

I was going to get a pig to start my money collection, but like others I've decided that paying for one isn't really the way I wanted to go.
I had a look around the kitchen and found an unsed HIPPO biscuit barrel. He's been sitting in my kitchen for years but never used, so now he's my mortgage 'pig' :T :j
I can get started right away with the coins I've just counted up from a coin pot I already had for loose change, and I get going with £12.91 :T0 -
:T really pleased with myself ,complained about some yucky yoghurts at the supermarket and got 12 free[was going to buy some anyway] for never ending diet.Put the £3.16 that they would have cost straight away soon as I got home, doing main shop tomorrow and will add what I save on B.O.G.O.F.s to total for first week.[saving and slimming how good is that]l:T Never Too Old to learn :T0
