Aw bumblebee, I'm so sorry! x
Elle, glad to hear he's making progress, shame about the reflux though! Glad you've got a better nurse - sounds like she want to do the best for Rhys0 -
I think the immunity only lasts for the first 6 weeks or so though? Krystal will probably know. I'm sure though I've read somewhere that its fairly short term to get baby through the first few vulnerable weeks only
The antibodies in your milk are constantly changing depending on what you're exposed to... I don't think breastfeeding can protect a baby completely from chicken pox but with the anti-bodies present it would probably make it a less severe outbreak... (On a personal note, I've had chicken pox twice and shingles... Aimee has never had chicken pox, I put that down to all my anti-bodies and extended breastfeeding...)
Bumble, really sorry hun ((hugs))
Elle, glad to hear Rhys is making progress(I update hubby every time I read an update from you, he's glad things are looking up too!)
On chairs, we have the M&P vibrating bouncy chair too, although the vibrate doesn't work... It was in replacement of a rocking chair that I had for Aimee that my Mum lent her friend... I haven't even put it together yet... I would of prefered my rocker back... Caitlyn is definitely a baby that likes to be held... But she did manage long enough in the swing last night that I was able to throw my tea down my neck before she needed feeding again!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I think this is probably right, DS was covered during the same outbreak but Erin only had a few spots so was quite glad to get it over with quite easily.Too many children, too little time!!!0 -
Sorry to hear you are leaving us Bumblebee. Fingers crossed for next time. Hugs to you. x0

sorry to hear, bumblebee
hugs to you
We went to the lido today! Felt fat, of course, since right now it's mostly bloat so just looks like I ate too many pies! I'm not small anyway, so of course being in early pregnancy just makes it worse.
Don't know if it was laying on concrete or what, but this was the 1st time I've felt uncomfortable laying on my back (felt like something was really compressing things right near my coccyx. I just figured I'd stop lying on my back whenever it felt uncomfortable, but maybe I should stop doing it now?top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

I'm sorry, bumblebee. I'm thinking of you.
The bl00dy bugs have reinfested the completely empty, food-free pantry. HOW??? And now we have to figure out a way of storing food in there without the little bu99ers eating everything that isn't in a jar or a tin.
My beloved is in there now cursing up a storm and removing the winged offenders. It's a thrilling birthday he's having altogether, although he did like his presents so much he changed his status to "has the bestest wife EVAR!"
He's now stressing about my birthday because he has no idea what to do.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Antibodies are in colostrum (tiny tiny amounts in breast milk, but enough to act as 'protection' from colostrum only). Was part of my exam that one0 -
Sorry to hear you news bumblebee, hope to see you again soon!
Elle, good and not so good news there but very day is a step in the right direction. DS2 let us know he didn't like being touched, but it only lasted about a week, sounds like Rhys is well past that stage!0 -
Hey, I realise this might be stating the obvious, but in less than two months I'm going to have a baby. It feels exceptionally unrealistic. How can anyone think I'm responsible enough to be given a newborn and sent home from the hospital with it? Suddenly I'm terrified.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Wait until you have a second Sugar... Being someone's Mum is daunting enough... But being two children's Mum... Just plain scary!!!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls...
