Wait until you have a second Sugar... Being someone's Mum is daunting enough... But being two children's Mum... Just plain scary!!!

If anyone wants me I'll be crying under my bed.

Everyone must be out enjoying the sun shine. Me and OH went and had an icecream in the airconditioned car in homebase car park - does that count!!

OH is now re-grouting the tiles, well actually he's using a grout refresher pen which just looks like tippex to me but I appreciate it all the same!

I am just plain uncomfortable and I can feel the baby really pressing down.

Those who have had babies - did you get any warning at all when your waters broke. I just keep feeling such pressure there that I keep expecting a pop and gush scenario. In reality I realise my waters might not even break but I wondered if there were any warning signs at all or whether as OH suggests I should walk around permanently with a maternity mat wrapped around me.

No. Mine went about half an hour before my contractions started, and there was no inkling at all that this was about to happen - and it was a pop and big splash, not a slow leak, if that helps ;)

I've only had my waters go naturally once and that was well into the labour, they actually went when I was fully dilated and the baby was pushing his way out, about 1/2 an hour before he was born. HTH

Hey, I realise this might be stating the obvious, but in less than two months I'm going to have a baby. It feels exceptionally unrealistic. How can anyone think I'm responsible enough to be given a newborn and sent home from the hospital with it? Suddenly I'm terrified.

I feel quite terrified every day, SugarSpun. It's the hormones I'm sure. I used to be so rational.

Rant alert, well more like a hormonal strop...

Both my shoulders hurt and I feel tired and generally cranky. Not helped by the fact that DH still throws a strop of I say that I'm feeling tired or ill or that yes, walking around for hours in the sun after sitting in a church is hurting my head and making me feel sick. Then he asks if I want to drive  Did you not listen to what I said, no? Been having blurred and double vision when I stand for too long for the past hour or so. But if I tell him, he will just whinge about 'well what about dinner then?'. Not having a good day, infact I can't wait till 8pm - get kids in bed, iron clothes for tomorrow and sneak off to my own bed with a book.

Now, big question, should I bother to sit the Int2 Chemistry exam on Wednesday? Don't need it for my next course and I do have to pay £35 and it will mean I'll have to study, or do I just leave it as I am starting to feel very 'pregnant'? Plus I have more assesments and a report still to do that I need to complete the course.

Afternoon all hope you had lovely weekends?...
I braved the beach and went in my bikini, always go in the same place and have done for years, sure some regulars thought id put on weight, so i talked loudly to my sis about my pregnant state..
I'm finding its hard sunbathing though because my lower back kills... also I have had a funny pain like brusing in a bone just above my lady garden (foo foo) anyone know if this normal?

I also had my first emotional bout and just cried on hubby for 10mins, because the house was a mess and I loved the cat soo much, and I hate not having control over my growing belly...

Sorry just an emotional wreck today..

Plus though had my hair highlighted and dyed a lighter brown yesterday for the summer, its looks nice.
