had an ok day - supposed to be in bed but oh was struggling abit so did some sewing for him (needed to repair a net curtain and cover some sofa cushions ready for his bro visiting - i will have to finish them off tomorrow beacause i get tired trying to do something small like the washing up.
I appear to be having cravings yesterday and today and they are for gin and tonic:eek: I havent drunk any alcohol for years and would probably fall over if i had a sip:rotfl:
I have tonic and lemon here but its not doing the job - dont know what nutritional value gin has that would make bubs want it:eek:0 -

Hello from Florida!!
I doubt anyones still up...even all the night owls will be tucked up asleep in bed! Not me cos it's only 9.30pm here. I was having MSE withdraw symtoms so thought Id pop on just to see how everyone is.
It's really hot here and Im struggling with it abit if Im honest, but Im being sensible and having lots to drink and plenty of sit downs while were out n about. I feel so fat and heavy though and Im suffering with prickly heat but can't take my usual antihistamines to stop it.
But I am enjoying myself despite this and have bought some wicked baby clothes for baby..he's gonna be the coolest baby in my town!!
Right,Ive gotta go,take care everyone xxx
I suffer from prickly heat as well but haven't had it so far this year. Does the not taking antihistamines apply to all pregnant ladies?Morning all,
jennynoo - I was posting cross stitch links a couple of weeks ago so I'm sorry if it's my fault you got distracted from the site

Don't worry! It keep me busy and stopped me from moping around while my OH was on a residential training course. Really enjoyed doing it as well.
Don't know if it was laying on concrete or what, but this was the 1st time I've felt uncomfortable laying on my back (felt like something was really compressing things right near my coccyx. I just figured I'd stop lying on my back whenever it felt uncomfortable, but maybe I should stop doing it now?
I've heard many different views on when you should stop lying on your back. I still wake up now finding myself on my back and my mum said she never knew not to when she had me. My yoga teacher said not to after the first trimester and my sister said not to after 16weeks when the baby is big enough to actually put some weight on the vena cava. However if it feels uncomfortable then maybe you should stop now - or check with your midwife what they recommend.
Bumble, sorry to hear your news - I hope you are ok and that you will be joining us again soon.

Back for a few.
Decided to do a mock exam for the chemistry and if I pass (or almost pass) without study, then I will do some study and sit it. If I fail big time then I'll leave it. But I am pretty dead clever at the chemistry anyway
Still getting random dizzy spells but it's due to the sun rather than the pre-eclampsia. Just feels like someone just punches you on the head.
Off to do chemistry.0 -
looking at the weather though its ment to cool down by tuesday x
