We've got that chair too! Obviously a popular choice :D
We got our slightly cheaper from a ocal independent shop. Hubby did put it up a few weeks ago and it seemed sturdy enough.

    Morning *yawn*

I had such a bad night sleep, was far too warm and I kept waking up to turn over !!
Had a cold shower this morning and have opened all the windows in the house, put 5 bags of water in the freezer last night so should have plenty of ice today :)

    Morning ladies!

All three desktop computers and my beloved's work laptop died this weekend. First was the Titanic machine (theoretically unbreakable because of the way the drives were connected. He tested it and narrowed it down to being either the power supply or the motherboard, checked with someone else who said it was the power supply, spent €100 and a few hours replacing it and ... it's the motherboard. Then the Linux machine crapped out, although that could have been broken for a while because nobody uses it. Then his work laptop's screen stopped working, so he connected it to an external screen and then the rest of it stopped too. So he switched to my desktop after I went to bed - and now it too is broken. I'm using my laptop and refusing to let him so much as check his email on it.

We both have really important work presentations this week, Monday's a holiday, and the work is on the dead computers. I can rebuild a lot of what I need from information I have in Google Documents (although it means giving up my holiday Monday), but he's in real trouble.

And I planned to make and print his birthday card this morning since today is his birthday. It's on my dead computer. I am a Bad Wife. Still, he has good gifts and I'm letting him sleep late.

All my Christmas shopping except for his big gift is done too. I've been incredibly organised because I didn't want to be faffing about with a small baby and the Christmas crowds. Plus we weren't sure if we'd be back in the UK for Christmas and wanted to have all family and friends gifts there in case we weren't. I find that by buying in the January sales and on halfcost.co.uk etc I'm able to afford to buy better gifts than if I started in November. It's hard the first time because you're pretty broke after Christmas, but then the next year no fortune was spent in December so the money's free in January.
Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
    Three gifts left to buy

I have a few things for Jasmine got already for Christmas, just to spread the cost a bit, but no way would I be sensible enough to think of starting in January !!
