Jillie, we both decided to find out the flavour, but I think if OH knew then I'd have to know too!! At the moment the only people who know its a boy are me, OH and DD and thats the way its staying til the birth! Even though we wanted to know, we didn't want to take the magic away for the grandparents x
Edit: Matalan has some really lovely netural clothes in at the mo, we bought some before we knew what he was lol0 -
Jillie - you can use the £1 off nappies to get the nappies when you get the changing bag (better check the date on the rest of mine!)
Mrs Moc - sorry to hear you are back in hospital but :bdaycake:
Ages - I will be 26 in less then 2 weeks . I still feel about 20 though! And I probably look it as well!!!!!
Krystal - where are yoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooou?
This little bean has been moving about sooooooooo much lately - in fact last night I could see my belly wobble as he kicked me and moved around! Very comical but everytime OH tried to look he stopped - when he kicks I grab OH's hand but then baby stops for ages!
OH says 'It's cos he doesn't want to kick his Daddy' but I feel bad for him - he has felt him move around though!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
My 20 week scan's next week & we still haven't decided whether we want to know the flavour. Of course, if it's lying funny then the sonographer won't be able to see anyway!
My other kids are 22, 20 & 17 & such scans weren't around then, so it was a novelty to see such detail when I was expecting our toddler. Even if we find out, we won't say anything this time, would like to keep SOME secrets!July 2024 GC £0.00/£400

Morning ladies!
Happy birthday Mrs M!
Congratulations CAH!
Any news from Krystal?
I'm in a disturbingly good mood this morning. I slept about 11 hours and the temperature has dropped to reasonable but still warm levels so I no longer feel like I'm cooking. And the nice Ikea man dropped all our flatpacked stuff off yesterday and showed me how strong he was hauling it all up four flights of stairs (swoon.....) so now all we need to do is to find a home for the crap in the nursery (never mind that this is the hardest thing to do on our remaining but getting much shorter Master List), clean and paint the room and get it all assembled and organised.
Back to the conversation from last night, I'm 29, turning 30 on June 12th. I've hated being 29 because it always sounds like you're lying! But it has been a good year, I got a PhD, married and pregnant. I'm looking forward to seeing what 30 brings.
To Do, today:
Finish clearing pantry (him)
Paint (him)
Clear out yarn (me)
Get rid of excess stuff (waiting on responses) (me)
Michelle's hen party album thing (me)
Laundry (whoever gets to it first)
Dishes (whoever does them)
I also have three meetings at work, all of which go over the lunch hour. Terribly inconvenient, especially as the last two are in the library and it's always so hot in there, and I can't wear sleeveless clothing because of my tattoo. But the last two should take an hour at most all combined, and the first a maximum of 30 minutes.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
Three gifts left to buy0 -
I'm also 29, 30 in December but I always claim to be about 27! I'm not ready to be 30!!!
Glam, my boy does exactly the same dances a jig then when OH puts his hand on, stops straightaway!! Think its because his hands are so hot, weird!0 -
Morning Girls,
I had a reasonable night sleep for a change probably due to the fact I only had 4 hours night before no nap and a rush drive over to get bloods!!
Whilst I'm still having brown bloods appear I've had no likely labour pains so feel things have stopped even with the sweep!! It's hard thou 'cos I'm still getting all the family giving it 'where the hell is this baby' etc etc, If they weren't I'd prob be a lot more relaxed about it!!
I'm def gonna have a nap today may just wait for postie then try to doze, meant to be in hosp 8pm tomorrow for induction!!
Oh and all this rain is causing a lovely ever-increasing water mark behind our woodburner, don't you just love old houses??!!

ETA: HAPPY BIRTHDAY MRS MOC!!! - I know its a bit pants your stuck in hospital, but at least its best for you bubba!0 -
Morning all
Working from home today as I've spent all day yesterday being sick - not good.
Mrs Moc - HAPPY BIRTHDAYAlso sorry to hear you're back in but you are in the right place.
Glam - Funny the exact same thing happens when my DH tries to feel the bump moving, he says it's the bumps way of saying "Opps, here comes daddy!"
Sami - Forgot to add Monley baby - already sky +'ed
I'm been working since 7 and I'm feeling sick again so may go for a lie down on the sofa and feel sorry for myself.
Have we heard any more news on Elle? You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same0 -
Morning! Big labour vibes to candice!! I think we should all focus our efforts on her now
. Hope Krystal's okay...she must just be knackered or something - of perhps her hospital's internet thingee is broken.
I'm 24, 25 in August and sometimes feel young to be having baby, as no one in my peer group is remotely there yet. But then I see chavvy (sorry) 16 year olds in tracksuits walking down the road with babies in prams & I don't feel so young anymore :-/top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
