so carla you see your GP not a MW for the regular appointments?

yeah, i go to my doctor surgery and see my doctor for my antenatal appointments.she is especially trained for antenatal stuff and all things pregnancy related, its a lot quicker and easier than hiking up to the hospital every few weeks!!

Is there no community MWs at your doctors surgery?
I only go to hospital for scans and see a community MW for all my other appointments, have never seen my GP

Nah it would be a separate person from ur GP, MWs usually wear a uniform so u can always spot 'em :p

you'll meet a community MW when they come to you at home after the birth or before if you were to have a home birth
