Fitzio - I personally don't like the loola (just personal thing based on looks) but one of the parents on the parent thread absolutely loves it she says although it is heavy for getting in and out of the car she prefers it to a buggy because its really easy to push and I think it can be parent facing in pram mode

Aww just heard some weird chirping in the garden so went to investigate and saw a black bird hunting worms for his little wifey, he got one and gave it straight to her - cute!

It is a touch on the heavy side to lift in and out of the car, but including the pushchair attachment, it's no heavier than the Buzz or Mura chassis' on their own. I know what you mean about the look, and I initially was drawn to the Silver Cross pram styles but don't think they would be as practical for me and aren't as easy to fold. The Loola is parent facing with the pram carrycot, and can be parent or outward facing with the pushchair.

I just want to try and make the best decision on this first time as I keep reading about pramaholics who are on their 10th pram etc!! OH would have a fit!!!

Quick question girls. When did your tummy go hard and stay that way permanently? Sometimes my tummy is like a rock and other times it is just really squidgy and makes me feel fat rather than pregnant. I was size 10 before pregnancy and was never really squidgy before.

Fitzio - I don't know who these pram people are but I think they have a problem! I read a review recently from a woman that said she'd had 30 prams!!!
I hated my silvercross pram but I put up with it coz I was damn sure I wasn't gonna fork out another £300 for a different one!

following Glams successes I went to car boot today and got....

Summer foldable baby bath (£2) said I wasn't gonna bother with a baby bath but liked the novelty of this.

2 sheets for moses basket and a cellular blanket all brand new in packets for £1 each.

Gorgeous bnwt white fluffy snow suit for £1

Not as good as Glams hauls but not bad at all, there was a person selling baby clothes for 10p each!!! But they were all pink or blue and I don't know what flavour bump is so had to pass by!!!

    Phew!

Back from the prenatal class, and although it wasn't a complete waste of time it really wasn't worth the money. We learned breastfeeding positions (only one though, not the three my book teaches me), how to put nappies on the baby, after a long rant about the evils of disposables (only one couple was planning to use cloth nappies...), how to dress the baby, how to try to make it stop crying. Nothing at all about bottle feeding, which doesn't bother me but someone might have wanted to know.

Afternoon session: anatomy of childbirth, breathing, relaxation and positions to get in for first and second stages of labour. She told me off for not making enough noise on my exhale :(

I feel better for having done the breathing exercises, but not better enough to have hiked across town at the crack of butt on Sunday morning. I'm also annoyed because we had a bunch of stuff for sale for ridiculously low prices (like a euro an item) and nothing was selling. I gave up and offered it free and the vultures are circling. I'm trying to weed out the resellers but it's hard.

Congratulations again everyone - I just read a dramatic birth story and can't remember whose it was, but congratulations! And to Rhys, I'm glad he's improving again.
