following Glams successes I went to car boot today and got....

Summer foldable baby bath (£2) said I wasn't gonna bother with a baby bath but liked the novelty of this.

2 sheets for moses basket and a cellular blanket all brand new in packets for £1 each.

Gorgeous bnwt white fluffy snow suit for £1

Not as good as Glams hauls but not bad at all, there was a person selling baby clothes for 10p each!!! But they were all pink or blue and I don't know what flavour bump is so had to pass by!!!

    YAY!!! :T:T

I've just done two massive loads of washing - one blue and one neutral.
    Most of it was either 10p, 20p, 25p or 50p each or 3 for a £1. BARGAIN

I'm just making sausage and jacket potato (too hot for mash and gravy) so while I'm there, cooking some extra sausages to make a casserole.

OH doesn't know whats come over me!

    Bit sunburnt :o

Oh and guess who won the football dream team out of me and all of OH's family? They all bang on about how much they know about footy and what brilliant managers they would be, but little old me won by 40 points!!

I'm sure we agreed £10 each off the losers!!

Fizio, how come you can get 25% off at Mothercare this weekend? Is it a staff discount thing?

I managed this yesterday - for us, it was a matter of matching up a few different things. Mothercare is doing a 10% weekend (until tomorrow). Then we had a 10% discount code which we could use at the same time. The final 5% was from quidco :)

    http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/406266/mothercare-20-off-another-5-quidco-/

That wasn't the code I used, so if you try it please make sure it is working! You don't see if it has worked until the very last screen before you click the 'confirm order' button.

Elle - so good to hear from you, sending lots of squiggly wriggly vibes to Rhys, thinking of you, hun x

You lot talking about food has made me want to do some baking, so I am going to make a cheese and tomato flan tomorrow if I have the ingrediants (its DH's favourite!).
I am also going to start meal planning properly again, so I need to make a list of whats in my freezer. I think I have some lamb neck fillet in there somewhere, so I will take sami's advice and make a stew or hotpot next week.
BTW, I can highly recommend Breast of Lamb stuffed with sage and onion stuffing and slow roasted in the oven for a few hours - its quite fatty, but scrummy!

Labour vibes to Candice and Krystal.

I'm hiding in the bedroom, MIL downstairs so I suppose I should go down soon! Bit my tongue at dinner time as she commented that OH made it then tidied up, wow, flippen quiche, salad and new pots. Really hard work. Now he's out cutting the grass so she really thinks I'm lazy!!!

I must be such a bad person then especially as I spent yesterday being monitered in hospital and was recommended to stay overnight and still don't deserve a bit of R & R when she's around. Went to Tescos this morning, then cleaned bathrooms, then took kids to the Fossil Festival, then sat on the beach with them for 2 hours. Desperate for a lie down once I got back as I was swelling in places I couldn't mention!!!
