skinty, I know it sounds cruel ... but I squish my bump till it kicks me to move again !!
Not a lot mind you, but enough to make it realise that there is less room !!

Skinty - Go have a really cold sugary drink and then lie down and give bump a good prod, I'm sure bean is fine, and the doctor only said that you were a little small, bump doesn't know that, he/she's just having a lazy morning lie-in.

Some tens machines aren't suitable for pregnancy, you need an obstetric tens machine...

Hubby kept on about getting me one but he's obviously forgotten because I don't have one... I wasn't particularly bothered about it myself... Didn't have one with Aimee and couldn't see where I would of benefitted with one after... But I spent a lot of time using water as pain relief...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Hello all.

Not got time to read back so apologies if this is a double post but this is a godsend

We had this one in our bounty pack when we had DS and the tommy tippee one we bought. We HATED the tommee tippee one it was rubbish and smelled all the time. This one is ace - much better. You should get a voucher in your hospital bounty pack to get one for a fiver but if you decide you want one in babies room and one downstairs (we did) then this offer is really good.

    It just moved!

Only once, just like it was turning over or something, but definitely alive! Maybe it's having a growth spurt? I have been eating a LOT recently.

I do find being pregnant so worrying. What will I be like when it's born?!?!

oh and because I forgot to comment yesterday, Skinty, you were petite to start with, and you know that small babies are common on your families so trust you and your instincts not arbitrary measurements, if the doctor hadn't said anything would you have been concerned about your bumps size? When i saw you the other week i thought you had a perfectly sized neat round bump...in my pregnancy yoga class theres a woman at 37 weeks who is smaller than you and a women at 22 weeks who is bigger...different people, different bodies and different babies, not wrong or strange...just different....

    Chin up hun!

Yeah, I kind of know this in my head but my heart panics!

Maybe cos Sunday would have been my first due date and I keep worrying about losing this one too. Silly I know but I do feel quite miserable about Sunday.
