Sami - I don;t have any symptoms like that at all. I don;t think it's pre-eclampsia, I really do think it is just a small baby cos we are both from small families, but he worried me and I don;t need it!

He also put on my notes SFD? does anyone know what that might stand for?

Oh, and he also put COPL? but I know that means he thinks baby is head down which is a good thing!

EDIt - I just found it means small for dates.

    small for dates

Off to hosp now - no contractions but they want me in to monitor & check

beenie - Is this the one? http://www.pregnology.com/faralong.php

ooh molly, thank you for that. "only" 197 days to go! 6 days til scan-day - can't wait:D

ended up doing allsorts of shopping googling yesterday and just love this http://www.lullabys.co.uk/shop/erol.html#1X0 as definitely want a crib rather than a moses basket and this will do for a lot longer. But it is sooooo expensive - think I might have to attack ebay! And save! Does anyone have any experience of this, are they any good?

    happy afternoon everyone!

OMG Greent thats great you def sound on your way, how very punctual!!

Krystal thanks for missing me, I see you and Mrs T still here too. I saw the same guy as last time at the hospital after an hours wait in a hot, full waiting room!! again was in and out but that was frustrating today because he didn't ask anything just said right 'due 18th so we'll induce 28th, see your mw 2 days before for a sweep' he then felt, listened and measured and sent me on my way.

Feel annoyed now and dh worried cos the induction notes say visiting hours apply to partners until in established labour then hosp call them in, he even suggested curry which he knows I hate, lol.

Please please please come by yourself bubs.

Bumble congrats - heres some sticky vibes *smears screen with golden syrup*, Mrs M hope you take care of yourself.

Sami I'l send you my recipe later if you're not in a rush cos its in the kitchen.

Morning! Am I the first one up? :D

Got my doppler from eBay in the post yesterday, but have sworn to self not to use it 'til at least 10 wks (which I will be on Sat) so as not to disappoint self. Don't expect to hear anything then, really, as there's prolly too much flab in the way this early in the game :p

FYI I got a doppler off ebay too at about the same time as you (angelsounds one). I tried it from about 10 weeks, but didn't hear the heartbeat (was disappointed) till gone 12 weeks and, don't take this the wrong way, I had no flab in the way however I have been told that my uterus tips to my back so not sure if this had an impact- so don't worry if you can't find it for a few weeks yet ;)

    I listen everyday now :o

I used my doppler regularly and got wuite good at finding the HB although Bubba was often quite difficult about it! It takes practice.

I was able to find the HB in the same place for about 5 weeks but now it seems to move around a lot more- once this one is big enough to kick me properly I am going to know about it based on the number of movement sounds I pick up on the doppler!
