Have not been on computer for a while, was hoping to hear about more babies being born lol!!

Elle- hope you and little one are doing ok, you are both in my thoughts.

Mrs Moc- You better take it easy girl or I am going to find out where you live, drive across town, tie you to the sofa (ooo-err) and force feed you tea and cakes!!! Seriously though your dh sounds exactly like my father. He can be sober for weeks on end then go on huge benders. If I had a pound for every bottle of vodka we have poured down the sink I would not need to be working now!!! He is a great father when not drinking but totally untrustworthy.. I would never leave a child alone in his care, can remember being about 5, mum was out and he was meant to be looking after me as I was sick and he left me lying on the sofa to go out on the drink!!! Nothing will change these men until they want to change.

Greent- good luck hope you are holding your buba very soon.

Hi to everyone else, is anyone else really tiny like me? I am only 4ft 10 and can hear bubs heartbeat with my doppler only one finger width below belly button. Think this is quite high up for 15 weeks?????

think Sami posted a pic of where top of fundus (???) is.

I'm a shortie too - 5" 1' when MW checked HB at 16 weeks she put the doppler thing about 2 fingers ABOVE my belly button and angled it down! Got it straightaway!

Cheers Glam, thought I was odd (well I am odd) but that seems sensible maybe there is not as much space between pubic bone and belly button of us shorties as there is in "normal" sized people!! Baby books say 20 weeks before fundus should reach belly button!! Thought I could feel fluttery movements but told myself they were too high up but maybe they are baby after all!

I'm 22 weeks and think fundus is near top of belly button. You should be able to feel a ridge where the top of the fundus is - that's what MW told me. I mainly feel kicks directly around my belly button especailly if I'm in a position baby doesn't like!

My IO dress hasn't arrived yet - ordered Monday night, posted yesterday - I paid £8 for express next day delivery so it turn up!!

Ooh Glam I would be getting mad at the very idea of it not showing after paying that, do they have a tracking system, sometimes they tell you which company it is so you can log on to that company's website.

Im 5'2 and baby was a lot higher up than the books say but again I put it down to having less room, we can't all be the same I suppose!!

I'm not massively short (5'3") but the gap between the bottom of my ribs and top of my hips is about 2cm!! seriously I can't bend to the side in that 80's aerobics pose coz they touch!! My bump has been right up high for at least 6 weeks which according to the pic it should only just be reaching now :)
