Hi noonesperfect,
There's an earlier thread with lots of ideas to help you use it up so I've added your thread to it to keep the suggestions together.

What can I do with the above? I bought two tins thinking that it was condensed milk which I could use to make fudge...tins are now staring at me every time I open my store cupboard....can I use it for fudge or to make ice-cream, can't see anyone here having it poured over fruit for pudding....just thought, could I use it in macaroni cheese??
TIA

If I have spare evaporated milk I use it as part of the milk in a rice pudding. It makes it lovely and creamy.0

I have a fudge recipe that uses evap:
1lb sugar
3oz butter or marge
1/4pt milk
6oz can evap
1/2tsp vanilla essence
Put everything in a pan except the vanilla - heat gently, stirring until sugar dissolves. Bring to boil without stirring and boil to 116C (soft ball). Add vanilla off the heat and beat till creamy. Pour into greased 7 or 8" tin. Mark into squares after 5 mins.

I make fudge with evap, and mac cheese - whisk it with eggs, grated cheese, finely chopped or grated onion and cooked mac and bake til bubbling.People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.
