well, its not quite a nibble, but is an excellent summery drink!

mix evaporated milk, rose syrup and water to taste, serve chilled. I grew up on this drink, its called Bandung drink.. a bit of a sweet treat but really nice and refreshing on a summer's day, pretty colour too!

    Fudge!

Nigella has a good recipe, which I think is 500g sugar, 100ml evaporated milk and 50 g butter, boiled gently together until it holds its shape when dropped in iced water, then cooled and sliced.

I've also been known to add it to milk and eggs mixture when making bread and butter pudding.

Put some in the microwave with chocolate and melt on medium to make a sauce for ice cream.
Or use as part of the milk in a rice pudding - makes it lovely and creamy.

You can use condensed milk to make banoffee pie.

Make a normal cheesecake base. Slice some bananas on top. On top of that put some condensed milk that has been boiling in a saucepan for 3 hours (don't peirce it...just jump the tin in). Then decorate with cream.

Some people use it to drink in coffee.

Some people give it to their pets - cats, usually.

Some people - and this is the one that makes me gag - make a sandwich with it ... ugh.

    Hi Nicifer_noonoo,

We have an older thread that should give you lots more ideas so I've merged your thread with it to keep all the suggestions together.
