Well I've pulled my finger out this afternoon!
Got back on the phone to HSBC about the 9 month thing! They are putting a note on my file and are getting the area manager to give me a call in the next couple of days! Seems it wouldn't have mattered if I had spoke to someone in branch anyway! :wall:
Also had a bill from BT Broadband (who I left in Jan) that was saying I was £19.35 in credit. I don't think they owe me anything but phoned up and they insist they do so they are sending me a cheque for that! :j
Also got on the phone to T-Mobile and changed my price plan. It's now costing me £30 from £35 and I get more free texts. I know I could have gone for a cheaper one but I am happy with this plan. I know I won't go over the allowance and feel more comfortable than having to watch the minutes and risk having a bigger bill!
I'm turning into a right tight-!!!!!! though! I really need some new socks! My current lot have got holes all over them but I just don't want to part with my money! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
:j I'm glad you're managing to sort things out, even if HSBC are still giving you the runaround! £2700 on 0% is not a bad start, especially if you can ask them for more soon! I know what you mean about putting off buying things until its absolutely necessary, but I'd say holes in socks makes it necessary :rotfl: . As for the job and increased earnings, i'm sure you can do it if you are determined enough (which I'd say you are!). How fab if you could start earning more, now that you are being so careful and would put it towards the debt
. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you
