There isn't any good news I'm afraid!
But I'm here to cheer you up!

Ofsted is causing countless trees to be wasted and students are driving me mad! Kids are barstewards! Teach 'em in straight jackets I say!
Well none of my payments come out until end of the month, all the interest has been added so my debt is has gone up a bit, got really bad leg ache due to driving 200 odd miles scrunched up coz the car was full. I'm 6ft 2" and have the chair right back but I was crushed against the steering wheel!
Spent £20 on bro's b'day present and have to fill the (very smelly) car up with petrol!
Also got offered an FA Cup final ticket but I can't go coz I have to work!
But I don't like to moan!0 -

Okay I can solve your first problem by chopping your legs down to fit in your car better. I done this to my 6' 7" son and it's worked a treat, he's now 6' 2" and fits far better in my car!
The second problem is solved by keeping the pressie for yourself to cheer you up, and get your brother to fill the car up............that'll make you much happier!! :rotfl:
And the final one is much easier, get them to change the day of the FA cup final so you won't miss it through work! :T
Oh and the debt thing..................do what a lot of people do and just bury your head in the sand!:D
There now, don't say I don't EVER help you out!!:p :rotfl:Honorary Northern Bird bestowed by AnselmI'm a Board Guide and volunteer to help get your forum questions answered and keep the forum running smoothly on Special Occasions, Green/Ethical, Motoring/Overseas/UK Travel & Flood boards, it's not part of my role to deal with reportable posts. Hi there SS.
Gawd it's hard going sometimes, eh? How dare they add interest and make the ruddy figure go the wrong way, and just when you've paid the so(o)ds. It just aint fair.
Now don't say I'm not sympathetic.
Hows work going? Are you still worried about redundancies? I thought your idea about going into work when you had a day off to learn a new (programme) language was amazingly dedicated! Did you actually do it or did the fish call too loudly?
Hope you're feeling more upbeat today.CCs @0% £24k Dec 05 £19,621.41 Au £13400 S 12600 Oct £11,981 £9481 £7500 Nov £7250 D £7100 Jan 6950 F £5800 Mar£5400 May £4830 June £4660 July £4460 Aug £3200, S £900, £0 18/9/07 DFW Nerd 0420 -
Hi guys!
Got my bank statements through, eventually, but 2 years worth were missing so phoned them up today and they are sending them in the next 7-10 days!
Also applied for an IF credit card yesterday but got rejected!
I probably didn't leave it long enough for my Tesco and Amazon cards to be updated as settled!
Why is it when you are clueless and the last thing you actually need is more credit you can get it at the drop of the hat but when you need it to sort yourself out you can't bloody get it!
Loan payment came out today which is good but I have spent so much this month already! Need to calm down a bit!
So here it is in all its glory!
Egg (Limit - £500) = £0
Capital One (Limit - £7,000) = £6,427.93
Morgan Stanley (Limit - £2,300) 5.9% = £2,194.11
HSBC (Limit £2,250) 0% - 14th December ‘06 – 14.9% = £2,183.00
American Express (Limit £2,900) 4.9% = £2,762.70
Tesco Loan 6.7% = £15,476.24
Total: = £29,043.980 -
Hiya SS
On the IF rejection, do you think it was a bit too soon after the BA Amex application?
You were lucky to get accepted for BT with Amex as well! On the CC board there's a thread with quite a few people who've been accepted for an Amex card, but not the BT part! It's put me off applying!
Glad your debt has gone up slightly due to interestI thought you were catching up on me a bit too quick! :rotfl: Got a few big bills coming up that'll reduce my overpayments - like @ £400 for 3 weeks childcare in July/Aug to be paid now! Aren't you glad you don't have sprogs?!
Keep up the good work and the humour!Back on the DFW Wagon:
CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/180 -
I have got NO money!
Got about £75 to last me 3 weeks which includes petrol!
Also got to go out for next saturday for a meal! Food is paid for but have to buy drink! Am probably gonna be a boring git and drive!
Bloody fishing costs me a fortune!
Am really p!ssed off with myself as the next 3 weeks are gonna be so bloody depressing!
AAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! :mad:0
