Well my final total for Tueadsy spend was £177.56!

But managed a no spend yesterday!

Today my T-Mobile direct debit came out, £46.53 (I know, I know) but this month I'm on my new tariff so It won't ever be more than £30! ;)

Think my Tiscali direct debit comes out tomorrow which means I'll be more in the overdraft! :o

But on the plus side I got the money back for the phone I stupidly refunded! Got to wait for another payment to process (long story) before I'm gonna withdraw it from Paypal but that will be nearly £80! :j

Get paid in the next couple of days aswell but got a very expensive fishing trip coming up on Monday but it will all come out of my budget! :D

Am also thinking about having a week abroad fishing in France! I know you will all shoot me down for it but I need a break from all this lark! Will probably cost me about £500-£650 so I'm really gonna try my hardest to save what I can from my "personal allowance"!

Also got a reasonable chance of a bit of extra money from work in a month or so which will cover that! ;)

Once again I have waffled on but I know how much you guys love reading it! :rotfl:

I think you deserve a treat, especially if you can save for it from your 'pocket money'! That seems quite a lot for a week to me but I don't really know what i'm talking about! I'm guessing you'll have done your research and not be paying over the odds for it :)

Your total is coming down so quickly (as ever!), well done :T :D

Well that price will be for everything! Accomadation (well a bit of grass next to the lake to put my bivvy up :p ), food and drink for me, and food for the fish, renting of a van to get us over there, ferry, petrol, license and insurance! :D

It probably won't even happen coz I'm relying on my mates aswell but we live in hope!

Well I went to the tackle shop today and 'invested' £72! :o

That's not too bad to be honest. Got a load of stuff for my money and got a little discount coz I'm a regular. Thats why I like to buy in bulk. You get more off! ;)
Aaaah so THAT'S where you get your tackle eh??? And I thought you were born with yours!! :p So how come you're a regular, wear your tackle out a lot??? Good to see you getting a bulk buy tho, us women like a bulky tackle yah know! ;)

Ah, well that doesn't sound too bad to me!

Nice to have something to motivate you to save or cut back (even more than you already do!!) and aim for.

Fishing sounds very relaxing to me - just the kind of thing I need right now I think  :)

I'll avoid the whole 'tackle' conversation and just say well done again  , safer that way! ;) :rotfl:

    Cheers Kath! :)

It would be pure bliss! Could just sleep all the time between fish! Shame it would only be another 4-5 months away!

It does sound lovely! I've not been fishing but I like walking, nothing too strenuous though ;) I usually like to camp overnight in a field or something, very peaceful and a total break from normal busy life.

It might be a while away but you've got it to look forward to. If you feel tempted to splurge, just imagine where you're going and what you're saving (extra hard!) for.

I'm off to France in the summer (with parents and paid for by them :o :rotfl: ), I need to save up spending money etc for this (and hopefully a bit extra to help out with the cost even though they insist no  ). Lots of lazing about, swimming in lakes, gentle walks etc planned - can't wait!

Arrrghhh, enough talk of holidays, gotta do that whole 'graduating' business in the meantime

Sorry to ramble on in your thread... I'll stop now!! ;) :rotfl:

Well if you do go swimming in lakes take a snorkle with you and let me know what sort of fish stocks they have got! You could do my homework for me! ;) :rotfl:

He he, now there's a plan!!

Mind you, I don't think I could tell one kind of fish from another so you might be given false hope!!!

"Oh yes, absolutely, there were really big ones.... three, four, no five feet long. And they were kind of fish shaped, with.... like.... flippery type bits, y'know..... So anyway, off you go and bring us one back......" :rotfl:

Think it might be time for bed :o

    Take care :D
