I find Poundland good for 99% of things, but I have had 2 disappointments:
1. Bought some sweets (Strawberry and Cream things) - Did not notice they were 3 months out of date!
2. Some kind of thing that tells you if a Bank Note is real. It did not work, it had no place for the batteries :rolleyes:0 -
Beware of the evian products I have got the cleansing wipes for 79p on the reduced shelf at Tesco a few weeks ago. On the other hand the spf 15 moisturiser is good value but again I have picked this up for 61p recently at Tesco although I must admit I got a few tubes more in poundland the other day.0

Lot more expensive in the pub or in the supermarkets.
Also set of 6 barbie books (tiny ones in a cardboard box). Price on the back of the box was £3.99.
Dont know about the barbie stuff, but Nettos sell Britvic and J2O for 55p a bottle.0 -

Unsure if it's been posted before but Poundland have recently taken delivery of these mini digital camera tripods in silver. Also bendy USB lights for your laptop etc.0

Really easy to set up only 2 buttons to press and it autoscans till you see the volume bar appear and one more button press and you are sorted, took about 2 minutes to set up. Much better than the larger multi function ones.
I wonder if you could set these up to work with a freeview box instead, sounds ideal for father in law as he can't get the hang of all the buttons on the freeview remote, this would be ideal for him as all he needs to be able to do is turn it on and off and change channels and volume. Anyone tried this?0 -
