Dont buy the hand held battery fans for hot weather - they fall apart within seconds.0 -
I bought pack of 10 extra strong wheelie bin liners (watch out there are 2 varieties - these are marked 'extra strong'). Thought they would be poor quality or too small, but seem strong and fit bin well. Went back today and bought 2 more packs just in case they ran out. Our area has just gone on to fortnightly bin collection.
Don't recommend packs of 10 cistern toilet block cleaners. Bought 'green' one and first few flushes were black. Colour has now settled down to a dingy grey green with no smell of any cleaner. I'm going to fish around inside the cistern and take it out as it looks so dirty.0 -

Poundland sports socks (4 pairs for a quid) are great. I wear a pair to the gym, then throw them away when I've done. At 25p a pair it beats dealing with sweaty socks.
I've also used the Poundland ankle and knee supports for (very) amateur rugby. After one game, I throw them in the bin, mud, sweat and all. It's no more expensive per season than washing more expensive supports, and the Poundland ones are pretty good for one game.0 -
Poundland seling Scholl rough skin moisturiser which usually retails for about £3.50 and Scholl deodoriser spray with extra 25%. Also Treatsize bags of Twirl usually £1.99.0
