Poundland bargains (and ones to avoid!) thread!

Most people have Poundlands near them (not to be confused with Poundstretcher which I find only moderately priced!) and obviously everything in them is priced at £1.
Most Poundlands I've been in have sold pretty much the same stock but it might be an idea to post where you got your bargain and also, anything to avoid, as they can sell things that are a bit shoddy from time to time!
Here's my list:
Buy:
Palmolive Milk and Honey Shampoo/Conditioner (large bottle)
Mr Muscle cleaning spray (blue bottle) - this is £2-3 everywhere else and it's great!
Makeup brush sets (great quality brushes, would make a nice present)
Stick on nail jewel sets (I do my own acrylics and these sets go for £7 on ebay!!)
Simpsons socks (father's day!)
Multipacks of wrigley's chewing gum (works out a bargain!)
Avoid:
Anti snoring nose clips (OH bought one and it was missing a magnet and didn't work!!)
Flash wall eraser (says safe to use on painted surfaces on the packaging and took off half the paint on my bedroom wall! Not Poundland's fault but not exactly a bargain if you have to lay out for paint!)
Also I find the hair bobbles there snap, so I get mine from Primark - £1 for 30 and excellent quality!

If you ever see anything in poundland that you think would make money on ebay, remember this, there was someone there before you who had the same idea.
It amuses me that when I see something in this store I will go home and see how many there is on ebay, even the anti snore clips made their presence and swift exit when they didnt sell.0 -
avoid things like chisels, you could jump on them and not cut yourself
good for tools you know you only want once though, bought a bough saw to cut up a tree that fell down in the garden and was fine and a long drill bit to drill through a wall and that was fineEx forum ambassador
