Buy
Jiffy bags
Rechargeable batteries (only 800ma but good for the price)
CD wallet
Cleaning/Glass wipes
Maybe
10-in-1 remote (not bad, quite demanding on batteries)
Cans (but supermarkets are always cheaper when 2-4-1 offers are on)
Avoid
- Creme eggs, Pork Scratchings, Iced gems, most toothpastes (all cheaper elsewhere)
- Mini handsfree phone (30cm phone cord, and US socket - utterly useless (surprised they sell any!))
- Mini camera tripod (falls to bits in minutes)
It's always worth keeping an eye on the stores as well because from time to time they get stock in that is being cleared by manufacturers. Quite a while ago they had gamecube arcade joysticks that were £20 from the manufacturers site.0 -

and may not be exactly the same product as you may expect. Bought some Colgate, may have been in a 99p shop rather than Poundland, noticed it didn't taste the same - not too pleasant - then noticed it was produced in South Africa, may be they have different recipes for different markets.
So although it was branded goods and packaging was familiar the contents weren't the same.0 -
Jiffy Bags are great value and can be used for eBay
Sanex for men aftershave balm - Very good0 -

See you in NUL suziewuzie, I have seen them around but didn't know there was one that close to me!

Ooh I got lots more. (Again all from Leeds Poundland)
Buy:
5 x Glue sticks (2 large 3 smallish) - not at all dry and just as good as pritt stick.
USB cable (still 9.99 in PC World/Dixons etc!)
5 in 1 usb mobile phone charger (I keep mine in my handbag and I charge it at my desk at work, very good value)
2-sectioned lunchbox with plastic knife and fork built into lid (brilliant for packed lunch)
Baby shoes (haven't got a baby so didn't buy, but looked gorgeous and nice quality for a newborn, 2 pairs for £1 in green an absolute steal! Also bibs, spoons etc)
Pet things (chew sticks, toys, bowls)
Hats, scarves & gloves
Avoid:
Earphones (unless you need some in an emergency - since they break almost immidiately!)
And always check the sell by dates on edibles (usually they're ok though)
I'd also avoid if you can cadbury's snaps at £1 a box. May seem cheap but I've bought them from Wilko's or my local market at 49p a box so not a huge bargain when you look at it like that.0
