The blue gel pens, pack of 12, don't write. Getting stuck all the time.

    edit...it's 12 per pack.

Haha, also, I bought a 10 pack of chunky colour markers to make a birthday banner. When I got home I noticed they were scented - but all the smells differed from the label on the pen - ie, the blueberry pen was mint and vice versa, strawberry was orange, most confusing! But the markers themselves were fine for £1. Not so great a present for a child though!

Any packs of coloured card or paper are an excellent buy though - I bought 500 sheets of 5 colours of rice paper and have used it for so many various things (mainly big coloured letters for banners etc, much cheaper and more fun than a banner from a card shop and personalised, just cut out whatever letters you want and get bluetacking!)

And guess where I get my bumper bluetack pack :D

    i got myself some

    Super noodles!!!! 3 for a pound !

they are 100g packets and they have curry, chicken, bbq beef flavours

well nice to have for lunch at work :) i worked out that what i was spending on lunch per day getting a can of coke/sandwich etc was in excess of £1000 per year!! (the problem with working in a city centre i suppose!) so i have started the £1 per day lunch challenge, going 2 weeks now and speant just £6 in 11 working days :) and i have to say i am quite enjoying it and eating pretty good stuff such as the noodles and some rice dishes etc and 98p sandwiches from the local cafe.

poundland has some good wire strippers as well if you do anything electrical these are a gem and some good allen key sets.

but the most bizare thing ?

12 pack of durex!!! nope i am not kidding! as i bought some super noodles recently i noticed a lot of 12 packs of durex condoms behind the counter that they were selling for a pound, now i must admit i was tempted but the thought of buying condoms from a pound shop? it scared me, lol they are that cheap for a reason, lol proabibly sealed at both ends or expired 15years ago. either way i avoided lol

Hi, I don't want to scare you but there has been a lot of bad press on asparteme recently. This is used in sweetners and can be found in quite a lot of other products (diet ranges). Scientists have proven it can cause cancer when used on a regular basis. Maybe you should check it out.

I bought a really nice terracotta pot, a clay one, in there the other day. And a big bag of compost. Now all I need is a sunny day!
