Even better, does that mean it will be the casual staff helping with price changes as its bank holiday - 'what did you do over Easter kids?' 'We went to Tescos, then went to Tescos and of course popped to Tescos.'0

i have been told that some of the products in this range will be staying at the reduced price after the promo has ended.0

Sorry if this has been asked before, but if I use my clubcard with an R&R do I then lose my points or are there any other implications to be aware of?{Signature removed by Forum Team}0

Any time I've done an R&R the points have stayed on my card :j !0 -

Thanked 56 Times in 44 Posts Tesco will withdraw refunds on misprice items.
Senior management have decided it is no longer possible to let this gesture continue as there are so many people abusing it ... 14/4/06 ... to be withdrawn next month.
Just copied this from a different post. Interesting!?!0 -

Yes - when CS scan your receipt for an R&R the clubcard number allows them to see if they choose - your recent transactions.
So if CS see a list of repeat R&Rs they may give you a hard time.
My advice - use cash and no clubcard.

The forum is a very power medium through which to collectively organise actions.
I believe that we should think about how to force other supermarkets to bring about better policies when their customers are overcharged on their misproiced items. I.e. it would be good if we could force them to bring about policies similar to Tescos.
I believe that people who (like myself) occasionally shop at other supermarkets such as sainsbury etc.. should report all their misprices to the trading standard.
We should collectively report other supermarkets to TS (to get a £1000 fine) each time they overcharge us as a result of a misprice.
This serves two purpose (a) It brings about better policy in favor of the consumer (i.e. to avoid being reported to the TS they might go for a R&R or some sort of an apology voucher). (b) It stops the likes of Tesco from ever removing their current R&R policy (i.e. if the competition is forced to bring about R&R plicy then Tesco will for sure keep its own). (c) Ensures that they all keep their prices accurate so that the other less price aware consumers don't get overcharged all the time.
This will be a win win solution for all.
R&R would work out to be a lot cheaper for them than £1000 fine each time (plus head office will know about the TS fine and thebad publicity where as R&R may not be flaged in the same fashion). The supermarket do things to make money….. so if by not being reported to TS and not being fined £1000 they make more money than giving R&R then not only that Tesco will keep its R&R policy but also others will bring R&R policies too……
I think we should exercise our consumer power to get a better deal for all. BM0
