It wouldn't be a good idea to give a false name and address if you have used your Tesco Clubcard for purchases, in case they check.0

Posted my second RNR for fresh meat on the misprices thread to let people know they are still current today. But get this. My first RNR for meat was on Friday, the CS called the Meat Manager who checked that my 5 different items were indeed mispriced. Off he went to his section and came back to say yes they were all wrong and so was the rest of the section. CS is a very nice lady, no problems there. So.... went in this afternoon and lo and behold the meat is still priced wrong. Got 3 items this time, went to CS (same lady) who remembered me from Friday. She called the meat manager again because she was flabbergasted it was still wrong. Meat manager and store manager in meetings so she grabbed the nearest passing dept manager and explained the problem to him. He couldnt be bothered to check it out to confirm it for the CS and so RNR with no reference at all the the SEL's in question. Talk about apathy. Mind you I'm not complaining - seriously considering going back tomorrow to check it out again! My freezer is filling up nicely at the moment.DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!0

eagles wrote:would there be any reason why they would ask for my address and do i have to give it to them . and can they stop me doing this if i do it every day please help as am just off down there again today
Not sure where they stand with stopping you do it. Some people have been recognised and store have refused on the basis they do it all the time. Like I said, I'm not sure where that stands legally or whatever.
However what they can do is ban you from the store all together. Tesco Stores are private property so if they see fit they can ban you. Reason often used is they don't like the way you shop/are abusing store policies.0 -
It would def have had yesterdays exp date 19/03/06 on it.0

So when scanners were introduced they weren't rolled out accross every store - just new builds and refits from that date. There are of course exceptions to this, Extras tend to get everything as they are seen as flagship.[/QUOTE]
Sorry new to this quote job, (Tried quoting part of an earlier post.)
Well when they built the Leyland Extra, a nice big store, they plain forgot 'em. LOL0 -
traceya89 wrote:i have just been refused a £20 refund on meat and need to speak to customer services. i cant find a number for this. i am foaming. the sel was 4.16, i picked up 2 packs with 5.18 on, some of hte packs with 5.18 on had been marked down to coincide with the 4.16 special offer but the ones i picked had not. CS told me she used to work in TS and the 5.18 packs should not have been left out. i would have stood my ground and asked for the manager but time was a factor as i had to pick up my little girl from school. i am very annoyed. i said that everything was very misleading and she offered me the goods at the price worked out at the lower sel offer. Any advice would be appreciated but i would be grateful for the HO number.
i am gutted about this happening today. it is obviously blatent that Tesco are putting SELs that do not correspond with the food as all us MSEs know. Do you think i will get anywhere or put it down to experience. I am going to ring TS in the morning though about constantly being misled by Tesco's prices not corresponding.Just about to give up!0 -
soolin wrote:My local Tesco Express does not do the R and R policy at all, when I queried it they said just the main stores only. I did notice they don't have the poster up about it though, so I couldn't really complain.

£80 - first reaction. Its your own fault for being so greedy?
Secondly, its there own store, private property. If your banned, your banned. You can ring up HO maybe and talk to them but its in there hands. HO number is in the above post.0
