    HI

tHOIS IS THE FIRST I HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THE PRICE PROMISE, doesa it have to be used within a certain number of days , and how do you get it

    thanks

Raincheck vouchers are issued via the CSD and have no time limit on them.

They may have a bulk purchase limit placed on them and there is no come back if the product doesn't come back in stock (but most offers are standard products anyway).

They can be issued for ANY offer...Multisave...price reduction...extra points...introductory price.

Most stores do not highlight this offer as when you use them to get your "offer" it comes off the bottom line profit, whereas a standard offer is credited to the store via a different method and the store does not "lose" profit.

However with regards to the raincheck vouchers and the Xboxes that were mentioned earlier, the OP didn't mention if they were on promotion or just low priced. But if its the later its likely that CS won't give a raincheck offers as they are only usually issued in cases of special offers
    Titch :)
  • Just wanted to let you know that I went back to Tesco today, they had stock of the 360 premium pack and honoured the price of £209 for me

Strange, I bought two PSP games (Lemmings and Midway Classics) and Harry Potter DVD yesterday and got the £5 off automatically at the till.. you should have had the £5 taken off so I'd query this!
yep finally got HP for £5 less - i bought a chart PSP game. they then had to r&R me cos they overcharged me on the psp game ha ha.

Cool well done Tracy! Was it the same (Midway Classics) PSP game or another one that were overcharged on?

    Cheers!

I was doing my shopping and noticed the nokia 6230i in 2 different areas of the shop.
One sel said 139 ish but with tiny little writing saying offer expires 19/03/06, the other said 149 ish .

Im pretty sure from reading previous posts that it will go through at the higher price.

Has anyone got any advice how i should proceed as i dont really fancy the thought of the CS staff using the offer has expired excuse to get out of R+R.
  • Hi, please forgive my ignorance but I am new to this. What does SEL mean? Is there a list anywhere on MSE which gives all the meanings to the many abbreviations used?
    Irony.

    The opposite of wrinkly.

  • Thanks, CS - very obvious and logical - SEL a bit more tricky!

Hi, you shouldnt have a problem. I never and even if you did you would just turn round and say 'oh well i'll have a refund plz, as that is not the price you wanted to pay'?
