Been around a long time now and the offer price of £149.97 ends 20/06 (today) but a lot of stores have changed their SELs to a price of £229.97 now and the computer charges that at the till. You just need to find a store that still has the promo SEL, and if you do it before midnight tonight they cant say much as the offer is still in date ... but obviously after midnight you might be into a bit more of a debate since the SEL will then show an expired offer (although its still good to try them).
Since this is a camera and printer bundle they dont tend to stack them with the cameras, or the printers, but they are usually on their own, end of a shelf, or in some cases I have seen them in the clearance / discounted items area. I had thought they were only in Extras, but I was just in my local 24 hour getting some actual shopping <g> and they had a stack of them there on a shelf end but fortunately at the £229 price as I had very little money with me
If you really wanted one of these cameras and printers anyway, the camera sells for £89.xx and the printer for £99.xx individually so I cant see them selling that many at the newer price.
saw these in leyland with two prices on
will they deff scan at higher price
no dates on SEL to say expired offer0 -

This should really be in the discussion thread, but:
If I'm in a shop without a working scanner, I always take the item to a free checkout & ask for a price-check - I usually say something along the lines of "Couldn't see a price for this & want to make sure I have enough money on me". Then go to another checkout when ready to pay.some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -
Does anyone know what the heck a Flaming Katy is?
I checked my receipt after doing a big shop at my local Tesco and saw i had bought a Flaming Katy for 1.79.
I went through my shopping when i got home and thought it was spring onions as they had a reduced sticker on them but when i went back to the store the spring onions were correct.
I haven't a clue what a Flaming Katy is and the lady at CS didn't have a clue either so gave me a refund.
She also refunded me for 2 ready cooked small chickens as i got charged for 2 but only bought 1.

God I cant believe Leyland store..... yes they will definately scan at the higher price (unless they have done a price change on the computer since Monday) as that is where I got a refund fromSince it took 4 customer service assistants, 2 team leaders and 3 different managers to come and check the bar code and all the point of sale material to make sure there was no loophole to get out of the R + R I would have thought they would then remove the incorrect pricing. The stack I bought from had about 4 left and it was on the end of an aisle directly as you walk in the store, around 4 aisles up on the right, the one after the DVDs and Games I think. The scanner is in the clothes area if you wanted to check it out first

How do you check if BOGOF offers are scanning correctly before you go to the checkout?? Quite fancy a couple of strawberry pavlovas but don't want to risk not getting my R&R!0
