Thanks for all the advice about the phone I bought.
Finally rang HO today but no joy, they said I was not entitled to a full refund, although I did wonder as he said something about it being a lot of money and doubting I'd get a full R & R even if I wrote to HO.
A couple of hours later CS from the store rang to say again that I was not entitled to R & R but was welcome to go back and get the £20 refund.
We've been looking online since and found the same phone for £100 so will probably just take it back!
Will try a more obvious mis-price next time!!0 -

and to pick even more holes in your post, why were you betting online if you were at Ascot?? Surely it would have been easier to bet at the racecourseFight Poverty - Hit a tramp!

I would be careful, if it doesnt state that it can be frozen it could mean that it has already been so......a dangerous game if so.Fight Poverty - Hit a tramp!

One has to work to earn a living and can't be taking days off at the moment, so its the next best thing (for me anyway).0 -

I'd report them to trading standards for the overcharge and Advertising standards for the misleading offer! So long as people accept these refusals there will be c/s agents prepared to make them. You were overcharged pure and simple there is nothing in the policy that excludes an item because it's too expensive, there are no conditions excluding phones or any other product for that matter they stonewalled you. As for any arguements that this is a discount and not subject to r&r that may be forthcoming this again is nonsense. You cannot advertise a product at one price and then sell it at a higher price which is exactly what happpened.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -

We like either Hovis Best of Both or Kingsmill's alternative, whichever is the cheapest of course.
I have watched in wonderment and frustration to see Kingsmill sit at 89p per loaf with Hovis at 96p. Then every four weeks or so Kingsmill goes up 7p to match Hovis.
Very annoying.
However the price rise on Kingsmill to 96p this week gets you one free, a small price to pay, but this deosn't happen every time.
Thoughts anyone?:o0
