Jailhousebabe, all I have to say is Cross Point.
They do everything within their power to resist R+R and you can argue til you're blue in the face and they still won't budge.
I know more learned people will be along telling you that you legally should be charged the lower price when 2 prices are displayed, but they haven't had to go round and round and round in circles with the "I'm right and I'm not listening to you" attitude you get at CS in that store.
After my 50 minute run in at that CS and no adequate response from the manager after 2 letters, hubby suggested I should carry through my threat of writing to the Cov Evening telegraph...what do you think?
And there's me thinking you were just being subtle!Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -
I had the Cross Point experience AND they just told me I was due R&R! I find that the innocent approach works - "I didn't realise - oh thank you very much"0

Yes, this is exactly the same as my experience (but you've explained it better). The '2 for £2' SEL lists a whole lot of 4/5 multipack chocs:
Snickers (the offer works on these but don't miss the 50p off coupon hidden inside the multipack wrapper!), Mars, etc, etc, and Maltesers. The Maltesers are conspicuous by the absence of their own yellow SEL but they are definitely listed on the main SEL for anyone who fancies some free chocolate this weekend.
I have just finished a pack this evening whilst reading the MSE threads (very nice too), think I'll pop into a different branch asap!:TPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Cross Point is the Walsgrave branch (near the Showcase Cinema/ToysRUs).some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -

Wait until you can't play the innocent card anymore as they know your face...whispers, time wasting, managers and still no R+R.
The thing that I find most frustrating is that I don't hunt these things out, just write prices on my shopping list and just this alone produces an R+R 1 shop out of 2.
I don't bother at Cross point anymore as I don't have hours to stand around after my shop, annoying as it's got more range in there of the food we buy than Ricoh does, but leaves more R+Rs for you guys I guess!Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Guys
Although I live in Coventry, can someone please tell me where exactly Cross Point Tesco's is? I'm not familiar with the name. (i've only been here for 4yrs on and off with work, from Liverpool really) so do please bear with me if some of my questions sound a bit dumb..:o0
