How about then for address Tescos head office address.

I'm thinking of saying to CS next time I go for R&R 'don't tell anyone but I'm a mystery shopper checking that staff are aware of refund policy.'

Good plan, however there is one flaw.....

staff are well aware of the things that they are judged on by the mystery shoppers and the Refund policy awareness is not one of them......

As can be verified by another regular poster i think!!!

And I don't know if it applies to all stores, but my one, mystery shoppers are given cards that they hand to members of staff at the end of the transaction

I think as soon as you start lying to CS (whether it's about your name or being a mystery shopper or whatever) then you're fair game for whatever underhand tactics they may wish to employ to avoid R+R.
If you tell the truth then you always have the moral high ground and always deserve to get what you're entitled to. Is that so difficult for some of you?
    Can I help?

    Hello All,

Just reporting in, after discovering this thread a week or so ago we've looked out for R&R opportunities at Tesco. This morning when leaving the store I cast my eye over the receipt and found that a reduced 4 pint bottle (yellow sticker) of milk was scanned at full price £1.40. A quick U turn to CS and a very innocent "....I think there was a mistake...." offering the receipt and item. Instant R&R (cash) no question or quibble.

That was great - ready for the next one.

    Slug.

You wont get away with saying your a mystery shopper. I work in retail and as stated above the store knows what they are being judged on. I'm also a mystery shopper and the NO1 RULE is you cannot ever reveal to the store that you are a myster shopper and i'm sure the store would also be aware of this.
