The SEL has "Carlsberg Export 330 ml * 20" and "Carlsberg Export 300ml * 24".

Risked Tesco Quedgeley - some minor resistance and they caved - so big thumbs up to the OP.

However there was no attempt to remove the SEL as there are literally dozens all over the place!

Gave up after 10 mins of going round in circles as had to be somewhere.

I had this today too. Picked up Carlsberg Export SEl said 330ml bottles, but they only had 300ml. Argued with manager who offered me refund for my items, but no R&R, telephoned CS and was told it was a minor printing error and not an overcharge and they would give me 200 points on my clubcard for the inconvenience.

is this r+r stuff really worth all the hassle? I'm really scared that so many people seem to be getting banned from stores. Don't know what i'd do if i couldn't shop in tesco, i live on tesco "value"!

Yes it is!

I used to be drawn to value stuff - my family have never eaten so much good stuff - go for it - be polite - you won't get banned if you don't take the mick - good luck.

YIPPEE!! After lurking on this thread for a while, I finally got my first r+r tonight! Coventry Walsgrave Extra store, large fresh chicken (2.1kg), SEL clearly said 2kg+ 1.78kg?, but label on chicken was large, not extra large and therefore I was charged 1.80kg? Anyway, I wasnt quite brave enough to go to cs myself, so sent hubby while I loaded the shopping into the car. 10mins later, he appeared bearing my £3.78 plus my free chicken! Hoorah!! Maybe I will be brave enough to try myself next time! He said that the cs lady took away all of the large 2kg+ chickens immediately.

persevere on the beer front.....it took some explaining to CS but 4 missing bottles from a 20-bottle 300ml pack is daylight robbery if that's what it says on the label by each pile of boxes - 24 x bottles at 300ml (even if they don't exist)!! No question of no R&R.....the manager eventually asked me "what do you want?" and I said refund and got one! With hindsight, should have said "free camcorder" but you can only have so much cheek!! Good luck.

calella - fair play to you - they steadfastly refused my r&r on the chicken in that same store when I tried to explain that the chicken was priced incorrectly! That's the same store where I tried the carlsberg today. I was dealing with cs staff and management who I've never dealt with before.

spa2K, There were large yellow sels all over the beer aisles stating quite clearly "24x 300ml Carlsberg Export 2 for £16".

Was so p***ed off with them I made them refund ALL of my shopping, so have no receipt to prove I tried to purchase the carlsberg on this offer. Might still try phoning to complain.

It's been a bad week all round! (Did I tell you the story of the can of pop that exploded in my hand?.....)

tesco coventry at the phojnex way near covenrty rioch football stadium have them. whilst u there get a psp game spiderman at the back of the display cases for this game is one stickered 24.94 and it will scan at 24.97 have a great time was there this morning at 3am. left it on the shelf for others to find.
