I would have thought the CS desk would have replied "tut-tut-tut" after the claimed misprice on the Kangaroo meat.:):):):)

why are c.s staff so bad at tesco at the weekend. they don't know much about the policy when u return a phone u have bought legit not r+R i was told that u can not return a phone if u did not like it and u need to ring a phone number on a leaflet for a ref.number but the face of the c.s staff was in shock when i showed her the text on the leaflet which she had given me about the 28 day return policy but still would not give me a refund.last week

also when trying for r+r in a differnt store today on some meat the r+r staff said the price per kilo on the pack was correct and the shelf label was wrong she called a manager and wqas told to refund the differance per kilo. this took 1hr to work out even the manager called andy in this store said i had been overcharged but would only refund the differance. even thought the big sign in the store is not displayed for any normall customer to find out the policy but a small one on the c.s is hidden by the till. i showed him the policy and was told i was trying to get around the policy. but i was sticking to but he was not. finnaly got him to agree . finaly after 1hr r+r was served
    i don't half love a freebie

Anyone else been told "invitation to buy"?
Invitation to buy is only valid until you've bought it, then it's not. What this means is that if you point out a mis-price before paying for the goods they are entirley within their rights to refuse R&R.....however once you've paid for it, it's a whole different ball game.

A Tesco Express store today gave me a full refund on Innocent Smoothies - currently £1.81/£1.82 each, offered at 2 for £3.00, but the till only deducted 49p. The store didn't offer the full refund but neither did they argue when reminded of their obligation (which was printed on the till) and duly coughed up.

What on earth are Innocent Smoothies? Without some detail how would anyone expect to find misprices?

I, for one, thought the post spoke for itself. Innocent smoothies are fruit drinks in the chiller cabinet, delicious freshly squeezed 100% juice

see : http://www.innocentdrinks.co.uk if you are still unsure. I will be looking in the chiller this morning! Thanks OP.

fizzypop, I think you could have ben a tad more diplomatic in your question! Innocent is the name of the company that make the drinks and the product is their smoothies. In reality the post could not have been more explicit as to the product to which the misprice referred.

It's a bit like asking someone to say what Heinz baked beans are! ;)

Innocent is the brand like Tropicana is a brand.
Smoothie is the product like orange juice.
You'll find them in the chiller cabinet ... not quite sure where you will find good manners though but I do think you should look for them.
