I got the feeling that she was saying that to explain why she had removed the SEL. Very worthwhile checking.
How is this is a mis-price Dude?0 -

SEL's are correct at £29.** (they vary a bit) but if your "Extra" has a machine that plays "game clips" then the games below are priced at £19.** on those machines!
Chicken Little
Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire
50 Cent Bulletproof
Narnia
King Kong
PSP Games:
Prince of Persia: Revelations Sticker £19.94 SEL/Charged 19.97
Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade Sticker £24.94 SEL/Charged 24.97
Meat:
Finest 2 Applewood Smoked Gammon Steaks SEL £8.65kg Pack 9.65kg
Finest Honecure Gammon Joint 750g SEL & charged £6.49 Pack 5.49
Finest Unsmoked Drycure Gammon Joint 750g SEL & charged £6.49 Pack 5.49
Some of the joints have "save £1" offer labels but all are at £5.49
They look very silly on the shelf displaying £5.49 just behind the £6.49 SEL!
As well as the Fresh COD fillets I mentioned yesterday afternoon check out the Haddock fillets as well.
(I have since spotted that Oddfellow has mentioned there are probably others!)
Coke (24 can box) still around at SEL £6.75 charged £6.95
Finest Beaufort Cheese still around at SEL £13.** Pack 17.** kg.
I really like the new Edam labels! Was £3.97kg now £3.97kg.
Only taken about 6 weeks to sort that one out!
i have wondered about the games on the screen that if they show under 19 but on sel they are dearer do we get the r & r or coz they scan at the sel we dont get it back even tho the screen says under 19if you appreciate this then a thank you would be appreciated :T0 -

Yes!
Any price which is wrong and lower, exposes them to the R & R policy.

The CS staff suspected the cabbage was to blame so if you want some free fruit and vegetables ensure you buy a cabbage!
Reply by Spa2k,
the cabbage is not in the offer, it is sold by weight and is not a "pre-packed" product.
The CS staff should not have given the refund.
Spa2k,
I realise this is an error and maybe not available in all stores. However my wife picked up another 5 items for free today (Sunday) as the offer label is there on the cabbages! Also the sign in the store states ALL prepacked fruit and veg. It doesn't exclude variable weight items so you can argue the point anyway!
I saw a TV advert tonight that had small print at the end stating "excludes items weighed at checkout".Keep SmilingSite member number 24

pre-packed items are items that are sold at a specific price and weight. Cabbages are not classed as prepacked as they are weighed at the checkouts....thus the 5 for 4 offer does not apply (i assume you are talking about the white cabbage).Fight Poverty - Hit a tramp!
I don't exist, it is merely your imagination.

Yes SPA2K it is the white cabbage that has a label placing it in the 5 for 4 offer. It shouldn't be there as it is a variable weight item but what can you do! Can't let a good offer like that one go!Keep Smiling
