    no, it does not

I went back there last night

it says "10% off ALL tesco pay as you go mobile phones", no small print about 'shown prices' or anything

But the red SLVR is usually priced at £129.97 so 10% off is about £116.97 is it not?

the fact that the SEL may not say the discount has already been applied then I would thing an r+r is due I would expect to save £11.70 and pay £105.27.

I think I will go and have a look for this one later.

The £116.97 is an introduttory price according to the website

No, the red SLVR has never had a previous price

it's not been sold before, and they legally can't say the previous price as there hasn't been one

but, yes, it will be 129.97 when the offer expires, BUT, no POS or SEL states that (other than the website)

so, it's a legit, bang to rights R+R

Well I just tried for the red SLVR and I was unsucessfull

The assistant I delt with was adament that the 10% had already been discounted as it had a yellow SEL, the fact it said introductory offer didnt matter as far as she was concerned the 10% had been deducted. I wasnt happy and persued that I should have received 10% off that price so she went to a manager and after a while the manager said they would discount me the 10% I then went in for the kill and mentioned the sign and went for the r+r. The manager came out to me this time and said that due to it being a charity based phone they wont give r+r and that they are not obliged to give r+r.
So I asked what does promise mean as that is stated at the top ot the sign, he didnt give me a reply?

I ended up getting a refund.

I was looking for a replacement for my sister's moto e1000 I think it is, the joystick on it isnt working 100% of the time she wants either the L7 or the V3 so I thought if I can get it free great but no luck I will see what Orange offer me next month when my contract is due to expire, the L7 should be available on Orange by then. just need to get it unlock by my mate and away she will go.

I wasnt going for it just for the sake of getting it if that is what you were sugesting, I dont do things that way.

I think I'll have a dig around for one of the v3's myself, and before anybody asks if I'm not successful NO I won't be buying one elsewhere as I only trust Tesco with such a high value purchase I don't feel confident enough to buy this product elsewhere :rotfl: :rotfl:

Actually I was going to recommend that you do get one, i have one and its a really good phone. In the US of A it comes with Itunes (and it can be modified to get itunes in this country - yes I have done it!) In short, its probably the best phone that i have had (and i've had many!).
