All this talk of exercise is making me feel guilty! My parents gave me a pair of banded headphones for Christmas (they don't fall out when you get hot and bothered while jogging) and I have downloaded the 'Couch to 5k' podcasts. Aiming to start on the 27th, in all honesty there's no chance of me doing anything before then ;)
  • I'm on week 7 of couch to 5k. I never thought I'd be able to 'lightly jog' for 25 minutes!!

how do you find it little fred?
  • I found the first week hard as I haven't done any aerobic exercise in years due to having bad knees so I've always gone swimming (if I did any exercise :p) but I feel like I'm making real progress. I've just got back from my 2nd week 7 run and I managed to go about 500m further than my last one :)

  • It doesn't take much to notice your improvement in exercise whether it's more energy during the day, not getting puffed out walking up stairs, being able to run faster or for longer. I've heard good things about the couch to 5km program.
    MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.
  • One of the biggest things I've noticed is that I now naturally walk faster instead of feeling like I'm running to keep up with people!
