    Hi SH,

I'm hesitant about telling Aberdeen job about interview for Edinburgh job (which is allegedly 80% in the bag!!).

Not sure if I should tell them now, or nearer the interview, or after interview or at all.

Don't tell them - there is no need unless the times clash! Unless you think playing one off against the other would get you more money

Aberdeen know about Edin but Edin thinks Aberdeen is a no go. Aberdeen wanted me to tell them if Edin ramped up as they could potentially use it to put pressure on their client because they want me and not their in-house person.

Sounds like an episode of Soap!

Gas man has been. Short story is we need a new pump. The pump that British Gas never looked at once in the 13 years of our contract. Going to check tomorrow if that's right. Really miffed that it failed after around £3000 paid on Central Heating 5 star protection for 13 years and they only ever looked at the storage boiler I now find!!

Sounds like something wrong there alright - hard to believe that when it was last serviced, the pump was 100% fine, and now it's no good at all.... Good luck pinning them down KJ.

Spoken the Britsih Gas, their top Homecare plan only looks at the boiler never the pump unless you say i doesn't work. Well ho hum I'm sure self insuring will be cheaper in the long run.

Note to anyone reading - check the system works before cancelling the cover - numpty here didn't!! Cancelled mid September, put heating back on 1st October
