All is well, but you're unusually quiet.

    Fancy a cuppa sometime?
  • Fingers crossed that your waiting games turn out alright KJ - and sorry to hear you're snowed under. Remember to take some "you time" as well as everything else - this is just the time of year you need to avoid getting run down.

Thanks all, sorry I've been quiet. Never very good at waiting...I've got some stuff on the backburner until I know what will happen. So pressing on with things that won't change regardless of job situation.

FF - Tea sounds grand, let me know what suits.

    hi KJ
*waves* finally made it onto your thread again. I seem to be forever missing peoples threads cos they go off the first page so quick.

Am glad to hear that the benefits appeal got done. Well done on that.

It never ceases to amaze me that you press on with these idiots who think it is ok not pay you money that is effectively yours, it has just come via the the tenant from the local council.

I guess that they think you are loaded or something, so that you 'won't miss is'!

I would be a basket case if I had to chase money that much

I think you are doing great, and I will be keeping my fingers crossed that you get one of the jobs soon

    Thanks everyone.

Chev - they do assume we're loaded and won't miss it if they stop paying. Now have 2 at court, 2 pending further court action, 2 at eviction, 1 leaving Sunday (long story) and 1 leaving early Dec. So busy again methinks.

EH and SH - Didn't get job. I was 2nd out of 5 at interview, the internal person got it. Call me dumb but how I was 80% guaranteed the role on a 5:1 shortlist is a bit baffling. Onward upwards and all that tosh. :o They are going to try and find me something else tho. :T

MrsCMR - Half term last week, SB back being baffled by Physics. I think we'll do all we can to get him a decent Standard ("O") Grade in the summer and then back slowly away from the subject. Really not his bag. I was impressed when he said he'd keep going if he needed it to be an accountant - he seems to have his wee stovie heid screwed on anyway.
Once kiddiewinks are back your end we can start again with renewed vigour and vitality my friend :j
