FF - up until Feb there was over £3k a month going into my account and closer to £5k going into the joint account and we've never ever been given one solitary fiver!! What are we doing wrong?
You specifically have to have the Reward account. If your isn't changing to this then request it as it's £5 free for nothing really, just the credit of £1000 per month. AFAIK it doesn't have to be BACS as I just transfer between two Halifax accounts each month (naughty!) and get a tenner ;)

    Productive day.

    Cleaned, studied, paperworked and cooked.

Roast chicken picked and made into soup. Addition of red cabbage gave me Deep Purple Goth Broth...it tastes fab!

Scones and rolls made so start of the week catered for.

FF - I'll bring you some scones to stick in your big bag next time we meet. Fraid I do the big round ones you break into quarters...nice and soft and sconilicious that way.

SH - Thanks. I'm far too good to myself. The boys both disappear straight after dinner to sleep or compute so I'm on my tod and get to read or watch whatever I like. I do lots of the chores in the adverts or after x pages so the dishes and such get done in chunks. Lazy or what.

How about this for pedantic. Watched "The Duchess" last night. Starts off with Keira Knightley organised a race of young eligible men for her friends including her future lover Charles Grey. Charles beats all the other young studs and looks dark, manly and brooding. Given he was only 9 or 10 at the time that's pretty impressive and so damn annoying. Hey ho, never let the facts get in the way of a good story!!

    Passports - the saga continues.

OH's forms and pics are fine, so off they go.

SB's form is fine :j:j:j (4th attempt) his pics (4th attempt) are not.

After last rejection of pics I bit the bullet and went to a place offering Professional Passport Pics. These were done for OH and SB.

SB's eyes are slightly too far apart in the pic. So they need to be taken again from about 1 foot further back. Went back to the shop to explain I'd be bringing him back. She remeasured and said "Well there's nothing wrong with my picture, his eyes are too close together." She then fixes me with a steely glare, "He obviously gets it from you." :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Now that's wowing your customers!
