any suggestions please ?
Yes RTFM here that's why they produce them!Installing your Card is done in three easy steps.
1. Install the software FIRST. If you install the Card inside of your PC before you install the software, it will not work.
2. Install the Card inside of your PC.
3. Turn on your PC and let Windows operating system (OS) finish installing the Card.
Note: Install the software first before you install the Card into your PC. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

You amaze me! Were you not taught that there is no such thing as can't? One screw is all that needs to be removed to allow the card to be pulled out after removing the case cover.

maybe so, but i am king of breakage, even my missus has to do any DIY we have in the house.
i can't even see a screw ! so in this case its best to get my mate to do it rather than cause some damage !:grouphug:

What you consider trivial will have others breaking out in a sweat. A bloke I lived next door to had some very high job in the civil service and an IQ in the stratosphere yet he couldn't change a fuse. You amaze me! Depending on the PC it may not even be a screw. Many newer PC cases replace the individual screws for each card with a little lever that holds all the cards in.0 -
a few weeks ago i did manage to put a new 512mb ram in there, but that took me 20 mins to do and the whole time i was worried i was about to do some serious damage to the machine.
and that didn't involve taking anything out !!:grouphug:

That should have given you the confidence that you need to simply remove your wireless card then! It's just like Lego. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
