no idea gemmzie - but you bet your bum there is a thread on it somewhere...

Maybe go thru Quidco and see if he can get a good deal and cashback, and AA gets you nectar points, sometimes there are bonus codes too, i think 2000 points at most times, (phone nectar and ask them for a code before you go to AA via quidco...) you'll probably end up paying next to nothing..... although it is a scutter i know...

There's no way we can afford it without the Clubcard deal, it's too expensive :(

Thanks for the support guys, he's been and gone. I think I managed to make him see that this lady's concern is not about him, but about me. He text her, which was a cop-out in my opinion, but at least he got back to her. I think I got through to him about how serious this all is, explained how this has all come to a head coz the option of me moving home has gone out the window because of my parents.

He asked me to hold off for a few days on the LMH application, which I said ok about as a compromise. Gonna text him on Sunday and tell him that I am handing it in on Monday coz I can't hold off any longer.

He seemed terrified, he really did, worrying about fraud and all that, I'm way too soft coz I felt sorry for him, even if he has brought it on himself. He wasn't nasty or anything this time, like he has been in the past, he was really sympathetic about my meltdown that led to me leaving the job, parents split and all that.

Hopefully now he's text the lady, she'll ring him and confirm what he said in the text (tenancy is up 30th June, have new tenants already signed to come in, sorry hands tied) and she'll refer me to the hostel and it's all gonna start moving again.

Anyone have any unwanted crockery I can smash?

I wish I had a white room, no furniture in it, and when I was stressed out, I would go in there with lots of paint and just throw it about and have fun. Then when I am done and it's dry, it gets painted white again and so we repeat.

  • I'm exhausted and it's only lunchtime. I was planning on getting some reading done for my essay (it looks like I have to re-do loads of it  ) but I came home to find a letter on the doorstep saying that someone tried to access my account via telephone banking yesterday and they've locked it! I think it might've been me, I rang them up yesterday and had to hang up because I didn't know the automated system wanted my sort code and account number, I thought it'd just want the number on my card. I then rang back, entered it and got through. So now I have to go to the sodding bank and sort that out. Don't get me wrong, if it was someone else I'm grateful they caught it but it's just a pain. Especially when I'm up to my neck in essays.
