I imagine if your clubcard is connected to a transaction (regardless of when you hand over the clubcard) Mr T will still know how you paid for the shopping.

I love how some people can be so cute ;).

Its a database love, they tag you number to everything yuou buy, if they wanted to (and they prob do this) they will use statistical analysis to see you buy

Value grapefruit 90% of the time opposed to branded

Another local Tesco, tried saying that the coupon isn't a "conditional spend" from Morrison's as it is from the paper, not from Morrisson's:confused:
Asked them to check, and they were told, allegedly from business support, not to accept it.
Got home, phoned Dundee again, who phoned the store, then phoned me back with an apology, and to tell me that the store is now accepting them and that next time I am in, there will be a fiver waiting for me.
I was given the duty manager's name, and his hours of work, today and tomorrow, and a reference number.
Everyone, I dealt with, in store, and on the phone, were very professional, but seem to have been taken a bit by surprise on this one!
It's nice to be nice .....
You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
What a day I had - i phoned CS this morning as I read the Sun £5 didnt scan - they confirmed they are allowing it.

Went to Tesco, stopped at CS desk and said I would be using my £5 sun token, they said Yes thats fine, no problem with the Sun £5 morrisons.

Did my first shop of £50 to use the Times £5 also presented my moc about £25 worth. Lady on till said i couldnt use moc if I didnt purchase product, she had already input my Times £5 (it scans fine). Asked her to call a manager over, manager said no to moc, I gave her my printout of policy and told her to go and ring head office. There were about 5 CS staff round me now. They shut my tilll lane down. 15 mins on she appears and said head office said yes to all my moc but NO to £5 Times/Waitrose, I told them they were wrong and got CS managers name, she didnt have a name of Head Office person though. She let me use the £5 Morrisons coupon on my £50 shop though. So the voucher I thought was fine was deducted and not allowed and the harder to use Sun was allowed. £55 shop and £21 to pay.

Did my secound shop £30 and used another Sun £5.

Got home phoned CS and told them about Waitrose £5, they will phone the store and put store manager right and are sending me a £5 gift card and very apologetic about my embarressing shopping day.

I stood my ground all the way all thanks to Coupon-Mads sound advice.

    Thanks for the link claire.

Has anyone come across the £10 coupon book from Mccain yet? It's valid May June and July. Selling on ebay already ( surprise surprise!) Doesn't seem to be anything on the Mccain site

Just had a reply from my email, they're mailing one out to me:j

Might be worth a shot if you want a booklet. *Think* it's a third of certain mccain products
    Comping wins

    £31.13 "spend" today and 31 points:confused:
I got double(31 points) no notification that it was double points anywhere on the receipt, but there were posters up all over the place outside the store, my spend was £16.34,( down to that from over £28 but points added after coupons came off) no tobacco or baby milk..I queried whether newspapers were exempt from points as had bought Telegraph( to be even more shocked at MP's expnses) and the Sun...Dundee says newsapers not exempt so will take receipt in and ask why the error( I know it's sad for 1 point, but that's not the issue , I want to know why it's 1 point short)...I'm going back to this store on Wednesday to see if they will accept the £5 moc, if not will go to one that confirmed it will take it when I phoned them this morning.....I did get one thing resolved tho'...the fact that this store refuses any couponnet coupons that do not have my name on them...I finally got them to tell cashiers to accept those that have 'personalised coupon' or 'couponnet.co.uk' on them...RESULT...SA had seen me chatting to manager and coupon supervisor and took all my coupons no probs...she even tried really hard to take the wrap coupon, typing it in several times...but alas , she admitted defeat, said she was not allowed to do 60p non-scan...didn't push it as was more than happy with the lot she took..
