I've just signed up for that seems interesting. Seems some of the surveys involve politics and your local area which makes a change to answering surveys on your mobile phone or TV viewing habits.
    Cheers

Just found time to read this article, and now I'm panicking somewhat - I'm supposed to register a company just to fill out online surveys? I'm sure I can't be the only one who has been doing surveys for a while but had no idea about this apparant requirement - it's not like it's ever mentioned on the sites themselves...

Heigh ho, off to cancel the accounts before I reach threshhold then. Dang...
You do not need to register a company to fill in surveys. The article says you should register as self-employed, which is not the same thing and I also disagree that this is required.

Any income from surveys would be taxable in principle and you have six months from the end of the tax year to inform HM Revenue & Customs of any income which has not been taxed, i.e. by 6 October 2010 for any income between 6 April 2009 and 5 April 2010.
I am an Accountant. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as an Accountant.

Yes, as long as you're completing a self assessment tax form there is normally a section for "additional income" there.
Yeah, whatever. I'm a grown up, I can take it...

'Walker's crisps are made from thinly-sliced potatoes deep-fried in sunflower oil. Potatoes are a type of edible tuber grown from a plant originating in South America. Many varieties of potato are grown in Britain today. Walker's crisps are sold in supermarkets, newsagents, pubs and service stations, and cost about 45 pence for a 28 gramme bag.... [/QUOTE]

:rotfl:That reminds me why I stopped Ciao a few years ago! Those sodding food reviews! And school prefects marching around telling people off. Almost like one or 2 elements on the Old Style board over these parts...
Yeah, whatever. I'm a grown up, I can take it...

    Jenny -

Lightspeed - pays out via Paypal for as little as £1

It's Your View - 50 points = £50 cheque (as far as Im aware)

Ciao - Dont diss Ciao, it may pay low for some surveys but you get a payment at just £5 and you get £1 when one of your referrals completes a survey. I actually quite like them to be honest

Edit to add - Article bookmarked and saved as you do mention some sites I'm not a member on.

It's definitely a good idea keeping track of everything as well.

    Here's my current list -

By finding a pinecone research banner. They have them around from time to time and it's almost always posted on this forum.

Did anyone do the Ideablog through Millward Brown or Lightspeed? If so, have you been rewarded yet? It closed 2 days ago and Lightspeed are normally instant so I'm worried it was a bit of a scam.

Just finished my first survey with Springboard UK. It only took 5 minutes and I got paid 50p. It was about politics and the economy, very interesting.
