At first I was enticed by the whole idea. Who doesn't want to sit at home in his pj's and click buttons for a living? I've known people who signed up and gave up after a short while because it was all too tedious and not much pay. A few quid on the side probably won't be much harm but surely with that amount of time spent you can actually start a small biz on the side and make more money?

It depends what you're be doing with that free time otherwise. I tend to complete surveys, write reviews on Dooyoo etc during the evenings when my other half is out at work and the kids are in bed. Childcare costs wouldn't make it feasible for me to be using the time to set up a business or get a second job. I find most of the sites I use to be an enjoyable use of my time. If it gets tedious, I give them a miss for a while.

Surveys are never going to make you rich but for a few extra quid they can be a great litttle hobby on the side.

I know this forum is all about online surveys but what happened to Telenet? Everything about it seems to have disappeared on the website including the discussion forum. Have they gone out of business?

Does anyone know if survey companies do actually use the info you complete before being screened out. I know sometimes it feels as if you've given them masses of information only to be told you don't fit the profile needed. As I have just (V.O,Pet food). But I wondered if there are any insiders on here who know if it's maybe discarded. Somtimes it feels as though I sell my life story only to be told I can't continue.

A survey site only needs to scam me once (by getting me to fill nearly a whole survey then telling me I don't qualify) and I ditch them. Bye bye VO.

Where did you see the banner ? I have been a member for a few years and my friend would love to join but we haven't seen a sign up banner for ages.
