My family and friends are with Lloyds so just thought it would be easier for them and me when transferring money etc.
But, it could only happen to me...they have opened me two bank accounts, both with visa debit cards and cheque books...so got an appointment tomorrow to close one down! Only 1 credit search though, have already checked that!:rotfl:

I didn't ask for an O/D limit or CC, just the account for now.
BTH, the service has been great apart from the duplication. But you know from what I say I'm HSBC through and through for my sins!0 -

DECLINED :eek:0 -
I'm moving away from RBS and thought I'd apply with BoS, but got turned down. I then applied with A&L, got accepted but then subsequently read that they were pants. After some more research I settled for a First Direct account.
A& took ages to send me any welcome pack or other details. I only applied for the FD account online last week and got my welcome pack last week, complete with a £500 O/D which I can't recall asking for but never mind
Just need to cancel my A&L account and cancel their switching process before it get's confused with First Direct trying to switch DD's and SO's.0 -

The £500 od comes as standard. You've not got account yet either - wit til you get text alert or cards through post! I went as far as you and got declined so do not close your other account yet!
Good luck with the 1st direct application - keep everything crossed as they are the number one bank and hardest scoring as well by all accounts..... :eek:2010 - year of the troll
