The man from First Direct said No! Basically I failed internal scoring so that's that.
Try in 6mths and the decision will be favourable so long as I continue to run my accounts as I currently do..... No adverse data from credit file (however that is possible beats me!)
Anyway, onwards and upwards!2010 - year of the troll

What made them re-think?0 -
What made them re-think?
well I failed on scoring and I thought, i'll try and confuse them with nonsense and see how I get on - so I remained polite and professional (strange for me) and acted daft by asking a multitude of reasonable and ridiculous questions kinda implying I was a little 'credit daft' (lol, if only they seen me on here!) - so basically went like this:
I run my hsbc accounts perfectly well, have a high behaviour score so I must be behaving, have 15 DD's, an overdraft never used, 3 cards with minimal balances, all my spending is viewable by them as they can read my hsbc accounts if they wanted.
I explained about id theft/incorrect link thingy and said i'd been at my wits end cos I know nothing about credit so have been naive for the last year - now i've spotted the errors i'm dealing with them etc etc
anyways, to cut to the chase she felt sorry for me and said i'd been put through enough and that they will request someone look into this and 'view' my hsbc accounts in detail to get a better understanding of me....
She said they may override decision as credit scoring in essence means I didn;t meet their minimum criteria but with my hsbc accounts they may be able to manually override......
key word was 'may'..... they 'may' be able to override!
Hmmm, lets see what happens (was on phone for about an hour - started chatting to her about when I was in leeds and we both knew the same pub haha - google is great for pubs in the local area)2010 - year of the troll
