    I also noticed I did not wait six months.

    I last applied on 06/08/2009 meaning I was meant to wait until 06/02/2010. I applied on 16/01/2010. :p
  • If that was me looking at that now I'd have to get on the blower and shout 'Apply' down the phone..................

    I thought the august app was redone from the June app ?? Remember you had problems didn't you mate? I can't remember it all but thought it was your second app.....

    They sent me a written letter stating I can apply on or after the 6th February, so I just followed that date, though I got it wrong and thought it was 6th January. Oops, still, doesn't matter now. :D

    I just phoned and requested a cheque book. Debit Card was sent out yesterday so should be here tomorrow.

    I am going to keep my HSBC account open, even though I wont be using it. I may open a student account when I start university in September, however I have no need for an overdraft (have savings that I'll use for university + loans/grants).
