I will be using a tracking number, its recorded delivery which means the buyer must sign for delivery and also the envelope will be insured so im covered that way, you can do this service in the UK, so i am going to do it in ireland regardless, i am awaiting their response before i do anything though.
I'll keep you posted.
Please tell me if you have any answer from seatwave; I can also send the tickets this way, it's much cheaper ... but it takes max. 5 working days ...

I decided and I'm not waiting for any other answer ... the confirmation message says nothing about express delivery:
"Sending from outside the UK?
Please send the tickets to your buyer using any registered mail service such as UPS or DHL, making sure they get to your buyer in good time for the event. Once they've been sent, enter the tracking code by logging into my account and send us a receipt of the delivery costs. We will reimburse you when payment for your sale is processed."
I'm gonna send the tickets today with the Romanian postal service, with tracking number, signed for and insured value. It's gonna cost me 5 times cheaper and the buyer will receive it at least 5 working days before the event.

Hiya Mia
I will do exactly the same as you, we both cannot afford to wait anymore time, its the weekend shortly and i dont see them replying now till maybe early next week, i will do the same as you, i will use the irish service registered,
Also what i will do and maybe you could do, when you sign into your account and you see where it says ''awaiting shipment'' enter tracking number, i will enter the tracking number i receive from the post office and also the website address of were they can track it, that way we are covered as it been sent, i will also put in a small letter with the tickets to ask the buyer when they receive the tickets maybe they might contact me by email. If not thats fair enough but i will track the delivery myself till the website says delivered.
The quote you did in your last post, about registered post, i think we are correct to send it our own way, they just gave UPS, DHL as an example i think.
Anyway i am posting my tickets today, i will update if i hear anything from seatwave but i cant see it happening before the weekend.

I contacted the local post office and they couldn't guarantee that my envelope will reach Holland in due time; I don't want to take any chance and not deliver the tickets - meaning I would loose around 300 euro and unfortunelly I'll have to send the tickets with express mail.
Mabe if the support from seatwave would have been more prompt, the situation would have been different.
I will ask seatwave to reimburse my delivery cost as they stated on their website and if not this will be my loos; but I promisse I'll never use this site again and I will advise averybody interested and spread our story.
Thanks also, by brother in suffering)
