Just to add.
Jupon sizes.
M fits 10-18 however, bit snug on an 18.
L 18-20
XL 20+
White- very white ideal for white or light ivory. Some ivory taffetas lean towards white tones rather than creamy ones.
Ivory- quite cream. Suitable for the deeper ivories, golds, creams etc.
If your gown is light ivory, go white!

Hi Linda, I've ordered a Benjamin Roberts 2051 (it won't let me put a link in as I've not made enough posts yet).

Until I read this thread I didn't realise that I might need a hoop as the shop never mentioned anything to me...

I think I will need either a 189 or a 168 but would appreciate a bit of a steer. Thanks.

I have bought a Maggie Sottero Jovi, have you any idea what sort of petticoat i will need, and will it need a hoop?? Im not sure if this dress is classed as a mermaid or a-line!
Do you know the length of the petticoats as im only 5ft 2 but will be wearing about a 3" heel.

It seems wider on me? Maybe cause im shorter? Anyway, what type of petti do I need? At the moment it feels very 'close' if that makes sense? Like I need some space?

If it's this one you'll not want ANYTHING coming from the hip as this gown falls from below that line. You'll need the 189 fishtail for the little umf needed.:D

For this slim A line gown, go for a 163 or a 168 which is perfect for the slimmer A line such as this

You may need the petti altered but I'd try it.
