    Tupperware is virtually indestructable, I bet it will be dug up by archaeologists in a million years with one-million-year-old air trapped inside the seal.

    It's already a valuable collector's item - I was looking through a 'collectibles' book (antiques of the future) in Borders the other day, and they had tupperware containers in it that were worth a fortune. I think the old type of orange pots with the star pattern on the lid were worth about £10 or £15 - I couldn't believe my eyes.

    My mum has loads of tupperware, all from the '70's she still uses it and it's still in really good condition.Definately excellent value for money.

  • I have a Tupperware cheese dish which has been in constant use for 24 years and is as good as new. I would definately recommend Tupperware.

    Also have had some good Tupperware bargains from ebay lately.

    I have had my tupperware for yonks, bought all sorts of different things from various friends who had parties...... the nearest I have found is the range from lakeland...... and it tends to be cheaper, they also have quite a variety of sizes. I use Kilner jars to store flour etc, they look very good lined up on top of the kitchen cupboards.

    Me too !

    I swear by Tupperware, infact they do really strong lunch boxes from their oyster range, so good, eldest son used his for 4 years through the Junior school, still good as new and middle son has been using same on for past 3 years, and will be handing down to youngest. I challenge you to find another lunch box that lasts like that!

    Also recommend 'quickshake mixer' ( I think that's what it is called) mixes up brilliant Yorkshire mixes and Pancake mixes. Also does a mean milk-shake smoothy.

    Check out ebay for some bargains.
    keep smiling,

    LOL I grew up with Tupperware, then started buying it and then became a demonstrator and got loads free...........it's virtually coming out my ears here! icon12.gif Can't do without the microwave range!

    Looks like they are independant consultants now and not demonstrators;
