Hi all
I am really interested in becoming a Tupperware demonstrator as I love the stuff!
I have emailed them for some information. I will keep you posted as to how I get on.

um not in the dw, but I have seen it discolour from curry sauces etc
I found if i soaked it in STARDROPS solution, the discolouration came out, works well on tea stains and other stains too and without the nasty bleach smell

Sorry if this has already been posted. Years ago had a tupperware grater but the metal bit cracked. They replaced it even tho' it was years older by then. Apparently they have a lifetime guarantee and they kept to their word!0

It's great to see people discussing Tupperware. I am a rare UK consultant, and if any fellow MSE members want to order some Tupperware products from me, in the spirit of the site I will give you a 10% discount on the catalogue price for your first order.
Get a catalogue from http://www.tupperwareman.co.uk and please give your MSE ID so I know you qualify for the discount.0 -
In a former life I had cupboards stuffed full of tupperware, loved it all. One of my cereal bowls split - a demonstrator whipped the thing from my hand and said 'Lifetime Guarantee!' and she wizarded me another one pronto. The bowls and lids were by then 20 years old! Great stuff.
Unfortunately I had to leave it all behind when I left exH! Nothing else is as good (as the tupperware I mean not the ex!). I have bought so many cheapies from all over the place over the years and they leak, they crack in the freezer, no good and pretty much a waste of money. Been drooling over the tupperware on ebay and I think I feel a catalogue attack coming on! :rotfl:... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

Just reading through this I have some my Mam used when we were kids and looked on Ebay and there they were http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Tupperware-Harvester-lge-med-Containers-Orange-rare_W0QQitemZ250103143416QQihZ015QQcategoryZ11657QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I have a set of 3 huge to baby size, used regularly. I have some tubs with pourers from then too, lucky me they got a bungalow and didn't have room for it all
and some I bought at a party, last party I went to was 7 years ago. Expensive yes but they do last. I use a mix of these and the £1 shop disposable tubs which I reuse and find a godsend now for organising drawers etc aswell as storing home made ready meals.Seen some beakers on eBay too, Mam kept those
DPs Step Mam has 2 she uses when my kids go over aswell, same ones DP used when he was a kid, I mean how long do you need a beaker to last :rotfl:
Quick shake mixer I bought a one few weeks ago different brand claiming to be a brand new idea, I only bought it as I'd lost the lid from my Mam's old tupperware one! Just for the record it's useless, the lid doesn't even fit properly. One day I might be more organised...........

Just got the catalogue yesterday, really like the idea of collapsable storage, has anyone else tried these. Stuffs still very expensive but I know from what I already have it lasts, so time to start saving! One day I might be more organised...........

Would like to add to the profuse and rightly deserved praise of tupperware. Have been using, and still have bits from 20+years ago.
One of my favourite small gadgets is the zest peeler. Lost mine years ago, thankfully refound on ebay. It's a bit like a crochet hook on one end, to score the zest, and a flat blade on the offer, to peel the zest off. Brilliant piece of equipmentNew Mantra: I must not visit MSE until after I've completed all my chores!!!!!0
